We've been getting "non-calls" from them too.  Before that, we were getting calls from SALLIE MAE (govt student loans), apparently looking for whoever had our number before us.  My wife called Sallie Mae's number, because THEY actually left messages, and told them we didn't know whoever it was, and have only had the number for a few months.  They took our number off THEIR list.

Apparently, they then passed their account off to this "Dyck O'Neal" agency, but gave THEM our number thinking it still belonged to whoever they were looking for.

I just looked up their website, and in their Contact Us page got THIS info:

Several calls with no messages left; after reading these comments I decided to call them back. The phone was answered right away by a live person. When I told her I'd gotten calls without messages she said she was looking for XXX - the person who used to have my number. It's been 3 years since I got it but I still get calls for this person - mostly from collection agencies. I explained all of that to her and she removed my number from their list. I don't know who she works for or even if she was a collector - she didn't say - but she was very polite throughout the entire call, which lasted all of 49 seconds.

I don't owe anything. There is no voicemail but I get an email typed voicemail referring to a "Windell O'Neill", which is not my name. I'm on the do-not-call registry, but I can't get rid of these guys. How do I get it to stop?!

It is a debt collection company by the name of Dyck O'neal, Inc.  Just doing their job and trying to get you to pay your bill.

Same as above.  Never a message.  They want info without providing any about themselves.

Total scam. This woman jerk called and tried to keep me on the phone and get information to "verify security." When I told her to give me more information on her and her company, she angrily hung up. These are bottom feeding scammers.

Yes, total a***s, never leave a message, have an automated voice telling me to hold on, then just says "goodbye" and hangs up on me.
