Twice called in 20 mins, no messages. I too am on a few job boards, I think they're scanning resumes and cold calling and bothering people about loans and misc. crap. If this was a legit consulting firm their phone number would turn up their Co. name in a google search. Also, they would leave you an email if they were legit about job opportunities. I have Ooma, they are now on my Blacklist.

Wow Steve! You are an amazing private investigator! 972 is definitely a TX area code. I know that and I am not even a private investigator. Maybe I should become one? Hey, can I hire you to find my fake girlfriend? She is not calling me back. I wonder if she died?
Amanda 2013-02-04 15:52:34 Unknown
Called me twice in a row. I didn't pick up. No voicemail left either time and when I tried to call back, nothing.

Update...this number belongs to "real quick commissions". so, if you are receiving calls from them you have somehow/someway signed up for one of their services.
note: you may have signed up with a completely different program...don't know.
best bet is to answer the phone, listen to the caller long enough to identity the company and to let them know you would like to be removed from their list.
at least this is what i just did...we'll see if it helps.
i have never received so many after sell calls as i have with "real quick commissions"...very spammy and used car sales approach to business.
i've been slimmed and it won't go away.
the sales person is given a list and their job is to complete the calls.

Guy Seb 2012-05-04 13:57:26 Unknown
Naw, i think he has a point.
My sister used to work in a call center back in the days when outsourcing was just a nuisance, and honestly, whenever she comes home from work she'd crash at the sofa and just cry her eyes out.
She'd lash out telling me how she got pissed on at work because some customer shouted and cursed at her while she was trying to help him with his debit account problems. Take note, she was tryin' to help.
Grow up dude, whoever you are. Don't put the blame on the people workin' behind the phones, blame the system of Corporate America!
If ever you DO get a job, which I doubt you ever will considering the way you handle petty things, make sure YOU can stand the heat of Corporate America's Boiler Room!
Problem? 2012-05-03 20:08:31 Unknown
How old are you, 6?
Well, if they are offering education maybe YOU should think about sayin' yes coz honestly by the looks of it, you could use some education in you, boy.
I say go write down their number, give it to the local police, and hope everything gets settled.
Consult your DA if you have further inquiries.
donotcall.gov helps too.

JC MAYBE A SOLUTION 2012-05-02 14:13:50 Unknown
Just an idea but what if you answered the phone with "This call has been transfered to the Atterney General office, "May I have your name and company you represent!?" If you have a video camera answer the call on speaker(like you would nornally) and video the caller id and record them talking. Make sure you let them know you are in no way interested and record each call. The Aternay General gets involved only after a documented pattern of calls are made. If the police department monitors your phone calls, it's $10.00 to trace each call You might talk to some of the others on this site about a class action case. It might be worth talking to an atterney!

Get a whistle. When you get one of these telepests on the line BLAST THEM. See if the calls stop. if not, repeat. IT IS THEIR FAULT -- they work there. You sound like one of them. Hope you're on the receiving end of the whistle or airhorn.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the boiler room, scumbag. Nobody needs to be polite to the likes of YOU. Stop calling strangers.
FurtherDownTheRoad 2012-04-30 15:05:58 Unknown
Or just politely ask them to get your number removed from the calling list. And understand that if they do call again, it's not their fault but their system's. They use a Predictive Dialler, they themselves have no direct control on who the system dials, so unless you ASK them to get your number removed, not answering the phone wouldn't help, being rude would ruin your job opportunities - what if the next time you rudely answer the phone it's the job that you've applied for that's on the other line?, so just be patient and POLITELY ask them. Hope this helps, it did for me.. ^_^

I just got called back, AGAIN, by this number. I actually, sit down for this, talked to a live person. I told them that I had no interest in doing business with tem and to stop calling my phone. I did not give them time to explain who they were and what they wanted (I know I probably should have but if thy could not leave a message or talk to me in thepassed, I felt I did not have to listen to them). That was at 12:43 pm CDT and I have had no call from them since then. Hopefully this fixed it forme. Be patient and hopefully they will be on the other end when you answer the phone. I suggest to you to let them know that they have been reported to the FTC and the Missouri State Attorney's Office and tewll them you will report them to your State's Attorney Office.
Brianna 2012-04-26 16:10:43 Unknown
I just told them they had the wrong number and then they stopped calling me
Annoyed in MO 2012-04-25 17:37:19 Unknown
I filed a complaint with both the FTC and the States Attorneynoffice. The issue is tracking down these stupid robot calls. They use so many different # that they shut one down, another pops up! Is this what America has fallen too, a bunch of money hungry cowards who won't even show their face to you!
John 2012-04-25 14:10:27 Unknown
They called me 4-8 times a day without message. How can block this number
Thanks
Sean 2012-04-24 16:40:27 Telemarketer
I just received a call from them. I spoke to "Summer". She represents "Degree Search" (company). If you go to their website, http://degreesearch.org/ , you can contact them (there's a contact button on the very bottom) and demand to be removed from the registry and placed on a do-not-call list.
Randy 2012-04-24 15:27:06 Unknown
Everyone needs to start reporting numbers like this. If you have not yet registered on DONOTCALL.GOV go do it now. It can take up to 31 days for it to be active but once it is you can register complaints against phone numbers like this. The more people that complain about a phone number will probably get quicker action. I have lodged my complaint about this company already.
I like several others on here have been out of work and looking at many of the same jobs sites. I to have thought cool a job opportunity calling to find out it is them.
Job Seeker 2012-04-24 14:44:18 Unknown
It's interesting that since I have started filling out online job inquiries and applications I have been getting a lot of these spam calls, though I always opt out of having "third party" contact.
Since the ?Do Not Call Registry? is pretty much worthless and fluff ? the Fed only collects data for a large data base, no enforcement ? I do not even bother to report these any longer.
Az Freedom 2012-04-21 00:53:30 Unknown
They called four days straight. No message, asked for me by name. I told them they had the wrong number, as I didn't recognize theirs. At least 15 calls, no messages as to what they were calling for, very annoying!
Peggy 2012-04-20 19:10:15 Unknown
I get these messages many calls a day! We are on the no call lists. Someone should be monitoring this better. If there are this many complaints someone should have the authority to shut them down!!!
Michelle 2012-04-20 17:23:00 Unknown
I got calls from this number multiple times a day and they don't speak when I pick up and they don't leave any message. I can't believe there are boring people like these.

This number called me and I believe accidentally left a message and asked for me by name but then was like helllo hello? So it must have been an accident. However they call me up to 3x a day!
Marilyn Mangini 2012-04-18 16:46:07 Unknown
Repeatedly calls my number, day and night, when I answer there is no one there. Unable to call them back. Harassing to say the least.
