STOP CALLING!!

I have actually gotten several subscriptions from trade pub. They offer IT whitesheets with interesting information. The publishers of the whitesheets but bulk subscriptions for pennies and offer them to consumers as an incentive to subscribe to their trade publications as well. As a matter of fact, I've been perusing my copy of Maxim that I got in the mail from them yesterday.

Got call at desk today, didn't answer - no voicemail.

Same here. I try to call back buy call doesn't go through, doesn't ring, no busy just doesn't go through!!!

Called my work number - they didn't leave a message

This is one of several numbers used by Trade Pub, a company that markets business publications.  They offer free subscriptions if you qualify but I've never heard of anyone qualifying.  So then they want you to buy a subscription.  Typcial bait and switch.

I get call everyday at all hours from this company. I asked to be removed but the keep calling.

Same here. Very pleasant and non offensive.

ID themselves as Netline, and they don't leave a message.  Sounds like a sales training company.  My #1 rule in sales - don't act like a telemarketer.

They really do work. They can't stop that first call from a new number, but they can stop repeated calls.

For cell phones, open your call log, and long-press on the call entry. Most smart phones have a "block caller" or "add to deny list" option in that pop-up menu. No more annoying calls from that number!

wont stop calling despite my repeated requests- now I answer and don't say hello.. frustrating for them? I hope so

Also received a call but no voicemail and I have no idea who it could possibly be.

Gianna from Trade Pub called asking for the Marketing Manager. They get your Marketing Manager's name from a list that they get at trade shows. He gets so many calls like this he asked that I transfer them to his voicemail because he doesn't have time to talk to all of these people. She hung up before I could transfer her to the voicemail. She was nice though.

Person acted like it was a personal call, refused to give any info, couldn't tell if it was a client or a vendor we use... total waste of my time.

Yep, trade publications.  They were offering a free whitepaper download after they got my email from another whitepaper that I had downloaded.  (IT related)  I declined to confirm my name/email and we were done.  She was pleasant, nothing difficult about the conversation.

Answered the call today.
It was Trade Publications. (I think that was the name)
I recently downloaded a business intelligence white paper,
and they were calling to offer me another one (Is your ERP killing your business?  Top 10 warning signs)
if I would confirm my name and email address.
I declined.
The agent was pleasant, wished me good day, and we were done.
Much easier than wondering who was calling.

Caller identified himself as "Kevin" calling from Tradepub.com - looking for IT personnel; asked to be removed from their calling list.

Repeatedly calls my cell. I do not answer and they do not leave a voicemail
