number called me also, called back, went to a message machine saying press 1 to be removed from the list, i pressed 1, here's to hoping, suggest everyone else call the number and pray for what i got

Called and tried to sell me an extended warranty on my car.  I daily drive a 1990 Mazda Miata modified for road racing...  I told them that I routenely crash into other cars and walls at 130mph and catch engines on fire.  They laughed as I hung up on themm.  Good times :)

Just got a call today, March 25, 2009.  Just called and hung up.

They called my girls no# who gives a dam! i don't!

I wish they would stop calling.

What's really strange is that everybody here started to receive their calls on March 20th, 2009 and after. They just called me on 3/25/09 at 8:40 PM.

Got my call on 3/26/09 at 1:34pm EDT, same thing as above. I didn't answer and they left an incomplete voicemail about a warranty, telling me to press 2. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Just a call at work-- very inappropriate. Who is this? No VM either.

They called me and I answered. A message said my car warranty might be expiring and they could offer extended coverage. I own a Hundai with the best warranty in the business, so I knew that wasn't true, but I was curious, so I pressed 1 for more info. A guy asked for the make and model of my car. I said, "You know it's expiring but you don't know the make and model?" He said, "I'm just here to set up the extended warranties." I said, "What company are you with?" He said "D.N.A.W." and hung up.

same here, no voice message left... punishement for those who do this should be a headphone attached to their heads with 24 hour recornigs of telemaketing calls playing....  say for 5 years : - )
I know that would be considered to be torture and that shouldn't be done, but hey, they are doing it to us!!!! One thing I don't get is that they are spending the money on the system and the calls, but what about who is providing them with the line? What is the catch? This looks fishy. I ask you how much the phone companies are making on this scam?

Yup, Car Warranty scam.  I don't have a car, or even a liscence and I get these calls on my Cell.  They stopped calling our home.  But we were on Vacation last summer in the Outer Banks and the phone rang.  IT WAS THE DANG CAR WARRANTY SCAM!!!

Got a call 3/28 at 1:40pm left no message.  Thanks for the info on the warranties.

Call my wife cell phone and did not leave a messages! I traced or looked the number up and it was listed as follows: (978) 570-2080 Location: Wilmington, MA! Based on the above comments...its a Phone Soliciting Telemarketer! Dam I wish someone knew how to block these companies from Calling! But that's my take on the call....thanks guys for posting your listing...it really help! My wife thought it was a girl-friend that she hadn't heard from in months...that's bad!

I got a call from this number, no message left.  It was a Saturday afternoon and thought it to be probably work related.  It appears to be from San Fransisco area...

Yeah, it's a car warranty scam call.  It's been going around our campus for quite awhile, and around the nation I'm sure.

Since when are warranties renewable?
