I've received a few calls from this number, when I call back to see who they are I get a repeating greeting that says they are sorry I missed their call. It goes on to state if I want to be placed on the "no-call" list then I should press "1". They never identify themselves.

There is a free app for android phones called Calls Blacklist, it is free and works wonderfully!  It is on Google Play Store

I got a voice mail with music and then hang up. Is there a way the cell phone companies can block these calls. Going to find out today.

Been getting several of these calls lately and no voicemails have been left.

And yes, the newer iPhones do allow you to block individual numbers - my old one didn't have the capability (3GS) but the 4 and above models do (I currently have a 4s)

If somebody can't be decent enough to leave a voicemail, I don't return the call.  I've had way too many horrid Indian accented people calling me with fake American names making just about every threat under the sun - no more.

Just easier now to search the phone number and see who it is and, if necessary, I can block.

Before I started getting calls from this number I got calls from 1111111111 and that number really was all ones I think it's how they figure out who answers their phone

this numbers is a complete scam I answer the phone they said they were from a payday loan facility when I asked what name they had for me they laughed said I'm sorry I hung up the phone

Rang twice then hung up, from NC. Thanks to the new iphone software you can now block these types of calls.

Same here.  Answer, then after about 15 seconds of dead air, hangs up.

I missed 2 back to back calls from them just now.  When I called back (thinking it was a business call)  I got a recording that said: "I'm sorry you missed our call.  If you'd like to be placed on the do not call list, press 1 now"  Which I did.  I'm guessing it was a telemarketer or else they wouldn't have had that message when I tried to return the call.

Keeps calling a hanging up!
