This is a spoofed numbers, meaning they use an app on their phone that makes a different number show up on your caller I.D. than where they are calling from.  These can be telemarketers who work from home and don't want you to have their home or cell number or who are calling from a company office but know people won't answer if their real number and name shows up on the caller I.D.

I keep getting calls from (980) 819 numbers!! When I call back, it just rings. I haven't answered or talked to anyone there. No messages ever left on my voicemail. It's just sort of creepy to me. The numbers I've gotten this month:

(980) 819
-8602 (tonight at 6:49pm)
-8607 (Jan 21st)
-8604 (Jan 15th)
-8609 (Jan 9th, two times)

Again, when I've called back (to make sure I hadn't missed a payment or something on an account), I haven't gotten an answer or a message. It just rings and rings.

If you actually talk to anyone from these numbers, PLEASE reply and tell me who they are, and what I can do to make them stop calling. There are too many identity theft operations and hackings going on right now, and this creeps me out.

Got a call on my cellphone. My number is unlisted and nobody should know the number cuz I never use it...
Called back, busy tone

Called three nights in a row at 8:55pm. Woman was a _itch when I told her not to call. SHe said it was not 9pm and she could call all she wanted. Once again, I hung up on her.
