SCAM SCAM WELL AT LEAST IT NOT SOME COLLEGE COURSES WTF AM I GOING TO DO WITH COLLEGE AT 62

Received at message at 10:59am that I had won $1,000 but I never entered any contest so I knew it was a scam.  Who can we contact so that we don't receive these types of messages on our cellphones?

My cell used for work received this text at 2am. Was told by cellphone company they were "looking into it ".
Verry unhapp.

A text to my private cell saying it was from "TargetPrizes.com" and that I'd won a prize for $1000 Target Gift Card if I claim it within 24 hours... did I enter my cell in a contest? NO.

Got the same text message about "my entry last month"  "won"  me a $1000 gift card.  What entry I thought.

I received a text call this morning from 985-259-1078 saying I had 24 hours to get my $1,000 gift card from Target.  I just had to go to http://TargetPrizes.com and enter a certain code number to claim my Target Gift Card.  This is a scam as reported via internet searching.

I received this text message from  985-259-1078....this is a scam!  I very rarely shop and Target and certainly not in the past several months.  I am tired of scam calls/texts coming in on my private cell number.  This is illegal as I am on the do not call lists.  Why are these coming through?  Sick of scams. Where is the security that is supposed to be screening these calls/texts and emails?  Is our government doing anything about this?

Other posters report they have had success in forwarding these illegal texts to 7726. They are picked up by your cell phone carrier who will ask you to send them the phone number so they can investigate and have spam filters installed to block the texts. Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

I received the same spam text, and made a complaint on Alltel's web site.  The more complaints they receive about this number, the sooner it will be deactivated.

We received two text messages this morning, one on each of our cell phones, telling us we had won a $1000.00 Target gift card. This scam cost us money, because we don't have a texting plan.
