I received similar message; however mine was from Malaysia.  I actually sent text back saying if you have sent me a message, shouldn't't you know my number?  Message came back saying he/she is hust verifying qualified numbers.  Because I wanted to know where this message came from, I sent the phone number and my name and I was even more shocked at what I learnt.  I was advised that I had won 1,850,000.00 and I had to either fly to malaysia or accept a courier or bank to bank transfer was an option.  But I had to send my personal information, including a copy of my international passport.  As far as I am concerned this has identity theft written all over it to me!

My maid just got the SMS in Doha,Qatar. So ODD that her 'winning' number is the same as the one below! I hate this kind of stuff as it preys on innocent people. Once they fleece enough naive people, they will ,ove on to some other way to get something for nothing. My maid's came from Malaysia where there is much Internet corruption now. Just remember, if something is too good to be true, it is NOT true.

I received the EXACT same message.  I too was curious so I called the number they provided +44  701  113 4191>  The call was answered and when I asked why they don't identify themselves, he said it was to protect the winners.  He said that they give no information over the phone but deal with email.  I have contacted our Anti Fraud Centre here in Canada to report them.  ALL BEWARE!!!!!!!

They sent me an attached letter from the HM Revenue, apparently these guys don't let anything out of the "NATIONAL RESERVE AREA" due to the magnitude of the funds to be released.  

so the catch to this is that they want you to send them 0.07% of the funds being held in order for the 900k to be released.

I KNEW THIS WAS A HOAX FROM THE MOMENT I GOT THAT TEXT ON MY CELL PHONE.  I then said that I would contact Samsung Galaxy to see if there would be anyway for the funds to be released

I got a response from AJ World Wide Services stating that the Samsung Galaxy Board had already paid for my parcel and that the HM Revenue department is a separate entity from the Courier Company, and that HM revenue department is a revenue generating body for the UK government, and they have never encountered any stop orders, that this is a new security policy instated due to the oncoming London Olympics.

Just got the following text message today.  Obviously a scam.  I did a reverse look up on the phone number and didn't get any results.
