989-634-1220...This number just called.  Didn't answer.  Let machine answer and all I had was music. no idea who it is.  Don't even know anyone in Bancroft, MI.

Please Remove me from your call list!  Annoying.

Claimed I won a $1000 shopping spree, just had to answer 4 questions:

2. Marital status
3. What type work?

When I told him I was retired, he hung up on me. Call back goes no where- keeps ringing then disconnects.

Company identified by caller and caller-ID as "Active Periodicals"

I got this call this morning, but I don't answer calls I am not familiar with because I work at home and don't want to be interrupted for telemarketers, etc.  It didn't say anything on Caller ID except the phone number.    Just another one of those that want to make our lives miserable for no reason.  They make me nuts.

Same thing...calls repeatedly...just music on other end...when I tried calling them back, it goes to an already full voicemail box.  Can not identify caller. Called to see if my service provider could help, but there are charges I refuse to pay for.  Go figure!  They did say I could report it to my local police department for further investigation.

Block the call and if you don't know how to do so, call your phone company and after a few of these calls they will have the number traced.

1 sept, 2010 got a call. traced to Bancroft Mi. Background noise was loud like a cafeteria or rest. Caller hung up.

If would like to block that number from calling again. When you get this number or any other like it.  You can reject the call on your cell phone. Go to it and hit select on your phone and follow the menu until you see reject this number or what ever your phone lists rejecting that number. Once you have rejected that number. Your phone won't ring if they try calling and if your phones do as mine. They are blocked from calling you all together. Some phones have this on them and some don't. I have a Samsung phone and it works on it and it might also work because it might be an AT&T app that comes with the phone. If your landline will do the same thing do it that way or contact your landline service.

This number calls repeatedly does not leave messages.

I started getting called by 989-634-1220 after I filled out an on line Best Buy Survey that then transfered me to Walmart survey for a $100 dollar gift card. At the end of the whole thing they were selling magazines and wanted a credit card number.

I didn't give them my card number and subsequently I started getting phone calls from 989-634-1220. Follow up sales calls from the Best Buy / Walmart survey.

Hey just called i answered an a woman ask for my boyfriend i ask who was calling and she kept asking for him. i told her i was his girlfriend and she hung up. i tried calling back but te mailbox is full. ugh.

Had a call from this number to my cell at 1:00 in the afternoon asking for my 11 year old son! When I asked who's calling the man quickly hung up. I tried to call back several times and was sent to vmail. Vmail said the mailbox was full. NOT AMUSED!

I got the same call twice and I send a message via my cell phone to not call my phone or I will contact the police...but I don't think it worked...got a text back stating my message was delivered to a landline phone. Oh well one can only try...

Calls come from the town of Bancroft, MI, Pop. 616.  I wasn't going to pay for the cost of a trace (owner).  You can call the phone co. and complain to them about the prank calls from that number.

Came into my Google Voice number, which reports it originated in Bancroft, MI.  I have call screening enabled so anyone not in my contact list has to state their name before GV puts the call through, it is supposed to screen out nonhumans and give me the opportunity to take the call or send the caller to vm and listen in if I want.   The call actually rang through to my phone but they hung up after the first ring.  When I clicked the speaker icon on my missed call page there was no recorded name left.   Misconfigured autodialer, probably.  Caller now blocked and will get the disconnected number message if they call again.

Same here elevator music no person live. WHats up with that?

Also clls from828-414-4845.  aAt first dead space like a telemarketer.  Than a person.  I asked who they said ATI and hung up on me.

There was  a lot of background noise like many male voices in an echoey large place.  A man pronounced my name wrong and it was "in reference to periodicals".  Huh??  I told him he had the wrong number and hung up.

I've had several calls from this same number just in the past few days.  What gives ??

I have been receiving phone calls from this number and they always try to solicit information about me claiming i won a shopping spree. Please have them stop...

989-634-1220  that is the number that keeps calling me..
