I received two calls from 989-785-7009 today, shortly after unwittingly entering their "Sweepstakes" to win $5,000.00.  I have not given them any information during the calls, and will not answer if they call again.  It is clear this some kine of boiler room operation, since lots of activity can be heard in the background.

I just want to know if they can charge me for any of their so-called  goods or services.

Just got the same thing all air. When I called back no one answered. Anyone know how to block these people from calling.

ok i stayed on the line long enough to find out what its about they are trying to sell you magazines i said no and got a conformation # for the million dollar sweepstakes that is scheduled for jan 15th 2015.  f****n bs i guess but I like to dream.

Who keeps calling me from this number

I got a call from 989-785-7009,and was wanting to talk to my mom saying she won ,and they WAS calling from publishers clearinghouse.telling me that my monsoon.

this number comes up all the time 989-785-7009 a waste of time i would like their number so i could call them at all hours at there home

You're an investigator?  Really?  I would believe you if you knew how to spell "investigator"...

Keeps calling and nothing ots getting annoying

Do you work for them? If so, you might want to tell them to stop asking for social security #s, credit card #s, and to answer with their business name, not the name on the caller ID.

Just tell them you are reporting them ti the FTC and not to call again.

Report them to the federal trade commission FTC website.

Now that's freaky. How do they expect to be trusted with that kind of behavior? Stay far away!!!

Got a call from this unknown number.  Voicemail was empty.

called 3 times in 10 minutes.  did not answer--let it go to voice mail but no message.

TIRED OF GETTING CALLS ON MY CELL EVERY 2O MINUTES FROM DIFFERENT AREA CODES AND MIDDLE EASTERN GUYS. SCAM AND WANT IT TO STOP.

They have called me 3 times in the last two days.They never talk or leave a message.

I think if you have a cell phone this call downloads a virus on you phone

Don't ever give out card information. If you won..you probably gave an email out as well in which they can contact you also. If they can give you your name and number but no email then you know it is a scam. Most prizes have email confirmation.

They called me several times, wouldn't speak, last call I received they wanted to "confirm" my ssn.. When I said, 000-00-0000. They hung up. And I haven't received a call since! ;-)

Received a call from this number and I spoke with Aaron senior manager.  Stated I was on a sister site and I was a runner up in publishing clearance house.  Listened to there spill and the catch is that they want you to sign up for magazines.  Told them I don't give out my info to anybody over the phone and they hung up.

It stems from an entry in publishers clearinghouse.  Stupid me, I entered my cell number in a drawing from an email message from Publishers Clearinghouse.  Now I am receiving calls from 2 numbers this one and one in MO.
