Don't bother calling att wireless for help. Here's a blog I found on another website that might help....
Upon further investigation, it looks like the phone number 101010xxxx is generated by AT&T anytime an email is sent to a xxxxxxxxxx@txt.att.net address. I think this is done so that "Reply" with a message works. Each time you receive another email to your .txt.att.net address, the fake "phone number" is incremented. It's simply a key that is used to look up the actual email address of the sender when you reply.
So, I send an email to a phone. Let's say my email address (the sender) is user@example.com and the recipient is 1234567890@txt.att.net. Since it's a txt.att.net address, the email is routed to an AT&T email server for delivery.
There, the destination phone number (1234567890) is looked up in a database where the next available fake sender phone number is retrieved and assigned to the email (let's say it's 1010100003, indicating that the phone 1234567890 has already received a couple of emails as text messages, and 1010100001 and 1010100002 have already been used as a result). At the same time, the actual sender address on the email is saved in the database with the fake sender phone number as a key so it can be retrieved later if a reply is processed.
Now, AT&T takes the email message and repackages it as an SMS text message with the fake phone number as the sender and fires it off to your phone. When it arrives you see this fake sender (1010100003), as well as the FRM: field (which is populated with the actual sender's name--although it's just for show and there's nothing you can do with it).
If you wish, you can reply to this message. But your reply is sent to 1010100003, which ends up back on an AT&T server. There, they look up 1234567890 in their database, and retrieve the actual email address of the original sender (again, using 1010100003 as the key), repackage the SMS as an email message and fire it off to the original sender.
You can easily try this out by sending yourself an email to your .txt.att.net number, then replying to the SMS you receive as a result. Each time you do this, the fake phone number is incremented, since it's a unique key (relative to your phone number) in their database.
This is an educated guess at what is actually going on with these "phone numbers"--they're just keys generated automatically by AT&T so they can use it to look up the original sender's actual email address when you respond with a text message. You have no way of finding out the sender's email address unless AT&T tells you who 1010100003 really is--because they're the only one that knows.

I continue to receive text messages from 111-050-9357 even though I've sent numerous text messages back to opt out. I'm filling out an FCC complaint form: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088gform.do It's time-consuming and a real pain. I think these stooopid text messages are trying to send us to: http://gameinvasion.comcast.net/gameinvasion/ but I'm not certain.

Okay I was having this same problem until today. I called AT&T wireless (Cingular) and told them about this MediaNet garbage. They said I had somehow been subscribed to a $.99 per month thing that allowed for MediaNet to send me these "deals". They unsubscribed me and said I should get no further messages from these people but to call back if I do.
I hope this information helps others and I hope I get no more spam from MediaNet...

MediaNET alerts from some apparently third-party company sent to Cingular/AT&T cellular phones that support the MediaNET service. Cingular/AT&T takes no direct action on these messages which are seemingly impossible to opt out of.
