ive received a call from this number but when i try to call it the call failed

Jaspreet- The unprofessional attitude is the clue that this was a fake call. As soon as these type of calls get personal, hang up & don't take the call next time. If you need to, call the company out of the phone book. It is doubtful this person works there.

I got a nonsense call from "+911141143200" by a girl stating she is from GE Money to talk about loan. And later she started commenting on my name, caste and asking where do i work and all... Hell irritating. Is this by any chance a fraud/ trap?

Got a call today from 114-302-3338. Unknown name. Message was machine gun fire and rocket launches. I have a son in afganistan. Worse thoughts went thru my mind. Glad I found this site and got A OK mail from him

Received call from 44 114 201 5606 and indian accent knew my name then line went dead.

have now received 3 calls from this number, who is this, I have not answered since the first call, which i could not understand and hung up.

Called from 441142848987 saying my phone number had been selected for a free T-Mobile phone. 44 is the country code and is from the UK. His accent was English, not Indian.

i got a call from 1147285400 and knows my name also. He is laughing and not saying any thing. Can you please let me know the area location, so that i will complaint to fruad dept.

Phone rang - when I answered it, there was nothing but static on the line.  I just hung up, but worried about who it might have been.  The phone number was 114-243-9489.

I got a phone call from the same number and as soon as I hung up they called again with in like 1/2 min. It was weird because both times I picked up the phone no one answered, that how I find myself here.

I received a call this afternoon from this strange area code, they left no message, in researching what country 114 area code is in, i found two, one was somewhere in England and the other was Zimbabway, Africa.  Of course i am not calling back to find out either.....if anyone had the same number on their caller ID, please respond and give let me know what you have found out about this strangeness.

This number has called me just about everyday for a month now. It shows up with "Bermuda" as the location. At first I wouldnt answer the calls, and they wouldnt leave a message. Sometimes theyd call multiple times a day. Finally I started answering so I could find out what they wanted. Sometimes no one will answer when I say hello. Most times when someone has actually responded to me, its been a guy (Indian accent) calling from "T-Mobile". Ive asked everytime to be removed from their calling list and still they continue to call. Yesterday I got the same call again, but this time it was a woman (Indian accent) that said she was from "Verizon". I said I wasnt interested and to please stop calling. She only hung up on me. If this doesnt scream SCAM, i dont know what does!!

Caller ID 114-284-8987 - no one answered when I did. I hung up.

Called offering a free Verizon cell phone but had to sign up for a monthly plan of $59.00. Indian accent reading from a script. I don't use Verizon so no use and probably a scam

An Indian sounding man called my house phone asking to talk to my father, and then he told me he wanted to "marry with me " and then also said he wanted to "f**k me" and then hung up.

Got call and when I said we were on do not call list,he asked for 5 digit number.Told him I did not have it and he raised his voice and became really obnoxious.Sounded non-American.

these ppl have called me for 3 months and over 400 calls as many as 6 times a day.. i have fun with them. the one day i had them on the line for over an hour and every other question i asked was do you like porn? lol the poor guy on the other end became the laughing stock of their organization as i could hear other ppl in the background laughing their butts off.. then i put them on hold for half an hour and when i switched back over he was still there lol.. its their dollar on the line and no matter what do not give them any personal information.. some how they have my full name and number but nothing else.. i have called t-mobile and talked to their fraud dept and am working with them to put a stop to these harassing calls.. if anyone out there has anyone they know in the foreign governments or interpol try contacting them to see what we can do.. these ppl need stopped.. since our government is to tied up with other affairs it is up to us, the american ppl, to take matters into our own hands and put a stop to this.. i will be checking this site regularly to see updates and see if we can compile enough evidence to find these crooks and end their reign of harassment once and for all.. power to the ppl!!   i have a contact with T-Mobile in their fraud dept named Josh.. the number for the fraud dept is 1-888-624-5173.. if you are able to put the fake t-mobile on hold and call the real t-mobile and get them on the line via 3-way calling do it and hopefully we can make a difference...

I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER

I've received calls from this number for the past 2 weeks and never picked up until today. Its an Indian accent( of course) for supposedly T-mobile. I cant see this company resorting to this type of Guerilla marketing though. They dont say anything until you say something which triggers them to answer. They said I qualified for a free phone. I said I'm talking into one and dont need another. He said what about for a family member and I replied I had none. He then hung up. If you have time, play with their heads. Tell them you work for a credit consolidation company and if they would be interested. Or how about a mortgage. Or vinyl siding for their brick home. Or tell them to give you their number at home and you'll call them back when its inconvenient for them. Have fun with these losers!

just got a call from this number, answered it but noone spoke so i hung up. i have a son in the military overseas and even though this was a strange area code, thought it might be him.

I was just at my mother's house and she got a phone call from this number. It said "Unknown" on the caller ID, so she didn't answer. I recognized it as an England call though. This was a big deal to us because my mom is from England, and her family is still all there, and some have been very ill. We didn't recognize it as a family member's number, but was afraid it was a hospital calling or something. I didn't have any luck calling it back because it said all the lines were busy.  44 is the country Code for England though, and 114 is for Sheffield, England. Exact information as to who it is is available at Intellius, but I didn't feel like paying $4.95 for it.  
I was just upset that it left my 80 year old mother upset thinking perhaps one of her family members could be seriously ill.

just checking through my caller id and found this number.  wasn't sure what it was for so I googled it and found this site.  no message was left on our machine.

Sounded like a call from India, think he said T-mobile or close, but wanted to give me something free.  I asked where he was calling from - he then hung up!

got an odd number on my ID.

where is area code 114? is it a phone scam??
