Received a call on 20 May, and expecting a call from someone, picked up without looking at Caller ID.

The call was made from 121-495-5187.

As soon as I realized it was a telemarketer, I asked that my number be removed from their call list.  A man with a foreign accent interrupted me and began screaming at me "I'm going to call you, and call you, and keep calling you, over and over!"

A real nutjob.  However, he didn't try to call again.  Can't block the number, either.

I've recently been receiving from the 121 area code, sometimes several a day and a variety of numbers.  Tried to block it, and get msg that the number is not available.  I refuse to answer and really wish there was some way to stop them,  I live in Canada, so it seems they're targeting North America

Received a call from this number on my home phone and my private cell phone. There is no area code 121. When I answered someone said something about me having won a prize 25 lacs. I suspect someone could be calling from overseas looking to get your bank info. SCAM alert!
He is complete fake & fraud. Don't receive that type of call & alert your all family memeber because he will call after your family member & call him pay money for your husband/son for urgent treatment.

Got a called from 121-318-2153 at 2:19 am  Sunday Morning 6-23-13. What the F%@k do these over seas people think we are stupid. I am totally sure it's a scam. They called the wrong house because I tell them to go BS themselves.

Just a while ago, I also got the similar call...received it...it was a girl...they disconnected it as I said instead of giving me a number to call a person, why don't you send that person with money..I will give 5 lac to that person and 5 lac to you...

I have had this number call a few times.  Yesterday it was my cell and home.

I got this today. I posted an ad on Craigs list. On top of fake English girls wanting to move to the US I just started getting weird calls.

A guy calling 3:00 am asking for JoeJoe, very suspecious!!!

I did not call this number however It is listed as a contact number for a car being sold on autotrader as of 2/26/2009. It is for a 2002 Camaro SS listed for 4500.00. I have seen this type of ad before on ebay. They list a very nice care with incomplete information such as no VIN and a very low price. My guess it is a person looking for bank account info or a reverse billing scam.

121 is the area code for Mazandaran, Iran.  I have received sereral calls from this same area code. Would like them to stop.  I didn't answer any of the calls.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't answer, but I just got a call from 121-212-1226 and couldn't figure it out since there was no 121 area code in the US. Glad to know I didn't miss anything important or my phone didn't just go haywire on me.
