Got a text from 410-000-0001 saying my wells fargo debit account was blocked.  I don't have one

1 410 000 - 0001 is used for email to text.

On October 22, 2013 @ 9:25 PM ET I received a text message from 1(410) 000-002 saying:

FRM:WellsFargo"
SUBJ:Check Problems
MSG:Your check card is
blocked,contact us
immediately at 1-866-206-1077 for assistance.

Will contact AT&T regarding this matter. I've never had this problem in the five years I've been with them.

Got a text from 1(410)000-001...not even a complete number....It said it was from a bank and the account number wasn't valid to use on the account or ATM...Don't have a clue what they were texting about..but the text said to call 1-866-397-9360 and give them a valid number.It gave a certain bank name too.I intend to report all this and call my phone provider and have these numbers blocked and stopped...3 A.M in the morning ..gotta be some thieves up working and trying to hack phones and anything else to pay for their underground scams...

Recivied a threat from 1410-000-001 then 1410-000-002 one Wednesday night then one Thursday mrning. How does a person disguise their number like that or what service are they using? I know who the person was that was threatening me. Want to know how I can trace this back

My dad got the same text message for me on my birthday. Have no clue who this is.

Keep getting weird texts.

Received a text.  They want me to call (866) 302-7511 to unblock my PA State Employee account.  Definitely a scam because I am not, nor have I ever been an employee of the state of Pennsylvania or any other governmental body.

Must be trying to scam government employees because they make more money (on average) than private sector employees

I got a message indicating my account was blocked.  what a scare!  how did they get my cell phone number or know my bank name?  i am not doing any banking on the internet any longer!

They  text  quite  often,  I don't  want or need this  Bulls***  from someone  I don't  want calling me...

I just got a text from this number earlier today.

Now I obviously know it's a scam of some sort, but that is one of my banks.  Truly disturbing as to how whoever knew that information.

I received a text-" FRM:Police" MSG: call me now, is urgently i am from police station. 01137322311187." I stupidly called thinking someone was in trouble. A man with a latin accent answered and said that I had the wrong number.

I received a msg from 141000001 and it says its FRM:HANNAH (MY STEPDAUGHTER) she is grounded from her ipad. So im wondering how I got this message. It said in the text message that she invited me f\to text and call free. The ipad was given to her from school to use instead of books, so im real curios on how I received the message and her dad got the same text on his phone.

I have received texts from the numbers 1(400)000-000 through -087 literally within the last 10 minutes, i don't think this is going to stop... Filed a complaint with the FCC, but i don't think it'll do anything.

received jumbled text message from this number this morning, it did not make any sense. I tried to text back to it and received message from 410-040-0001 that my message could not be delivered. I have no idea who this is!

If it came as a text message it all depends on what carrier you have and where the person sent the email. I'm a firefighter and I get text pages from County and for me it comes as a 410 number but for some others it'll come as an actual email. It all depends.

I just got a message from 1(410)000-001, stating FRM:TammySykes8[3 MSG:! WTF? I am filing a complaint with the FCC as we speak.

Do not know this individual with subj; Josh and requesting I go to a web link for24 hr bonus?

Just got a message from 1-410-000-002 saying: you told me wrong stupid f****r watch your back (txt2day.com). It used a number of someone I had in my contact list. Called the contact and they said it was a scam. I will kill a mother f#$%er for this sh#t!

You can call your phone company and have them block the # from your phone.

Just got a text from the number saying that it's US Bank and that my Bank account has been blocked and to call (866) 209-0912 for details.  I know this is a complete phish because I do not nor have ever had US Bank.

Got a text message from 1(410)000-001 and ignored it.  Got one from 1(410)000-002 a few days later and replied STOP.  Got a text from 1(410)000-003 today and replied with words I will not repeat here.  

Then did some googling. The number is not from Maryland. Most likely it's a message from a free texting website. Good news is that there are ways to block it.  Bad news is I've seen this number is connected to several websites.

If the message came from TextNow, you can permanently block these texts by replying " #STOP ".  Their support page says: "This is done on the device level, the sender will be unable to send anything to your number again, even if they obtain a new number from TextNow. The message sent must be #STOP with a hash (#) followed by STOP typed in all capital letters and containing no spaces."

If the message came from txt2day.com, then you have to go to freetext.biz, click on the "Block My #" tab at the top and follow the steps.
