Just got a call from 44 1-131-456-9940 on my mobile phone.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Who is it?

I checked and this is the iPhone Developer call center in Ireland

i can verify I was joining the apple developer program and got a call (which I did not pick-up) from this number, and noticed an email to complete my enrollment at the same time.

Yes,it is Apple Iphone related. I received a call like this and a verification email within 5 minutes of the call.  I just submitted my documents for selling iphone apps.

This happened so fast but when I checked my email I did get a confirmation of my acceptance to the iPhone developer program right after the call.

It was a very strange way of confirmation, though.

This number belongs to the agency that handles the Apple iphone developer connection program. If you have signed up and provided documentation, you will likely have received a call from them to verify your interest in joining the developer program.

I received a call from this number +44 131 456 9940 (Edinburgh, UK). They asked for me by name! The woman with a clear British accent hung up when I replied it was.

I feel like I've been phished.
