Im sorry I left something out and couldnt find the edit tab for my post. When I get the above call all it does is beep over and over with about 2 second pause in between the beeps

I get the call about every 5 minutes or so.. It just started at 2:50am August 7th. The number is 6-139-583-1699 I've answerd it about 3 times and now I've just turned the ringer off :) but it was kinda creepy seeing as how the calls started while I was watching a movie called Rendetion and the calls just started during a torture scene eeep well if anyone has any information where I could go to find whoever this is and stomp a mudhole in their head please let me know :) Thanks

Called me in NZ said doing a survey on Elections and television?
He wanted my home address etc ... Sounded Indian ... said was from Australia

called.  said from Australia, not trying to sell me something.  Survey of how Americans felt about local issues.  Asked for 5 minutes.  I declined.  Said he would call back another day.  I thought it was very strange, and it made me suspicious that they had ulterior motives.

OMG! they keep calling me! and when I answer the phone, they don't reply
then I phoned back, and the person who answered said no one phoned my home by that number

They have called multiple times. Never leaves a message. Today, when I finally answered, they said that they were calling from Melbourne, Australia and wanted me to answer a thirty minute survey on American life.
I said I didn't have time and hung up.

Calls MANY times, never leaves message.  When I pick up I hear a click and a dial tone.  Today they are calling me every 5 minutes.  They are ruining my life.

Calls often. Never leaves message. When I finally answered, they said they were from the College of Illinois doing a smoking survey. They asked if there were any smokers in the house and how many people over 18 years lived in my home.

they called twice indicating they were conducting a survey regarding smokers in the home the seconde time they talked to my 10 year old asking all kinds of details. Are they not suppose to have permission to do this? Isn't it illegal to do a survey with a kid?
