Got a call.  Because of this kind of trash, I don't answer my phone nor do I leave the answering machine on at all.  Let it ring until they get sick of it.  I turn the ringer off then check the caller ID from time to time to see if it's anyone who really matters.  If it wasn't for doctor offices and my burglar alarm, I'd throw the land line phone in the ditch outside.
