GOT A UNKOWN CALL FROM +911401020024 CODE IS FROM INDIA...THEY CALL ME TWO TIMES I DID NOT PICK UP ...PLZ HELP.

where does this come from, and why are they bugging me! try calling it back it doesn't work, i know i've tried, all i get is please check your number and dail again, i'm wondering if it's hackers calling your home to get into our computers what you guys think!!!!!!

Saw the number on Feb.21 at 10:38 CST in Saskatchewan.  didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  have been trying to figure out what country it's from.  never called back because it seemed out of country.  after reading your comments, i will NEVER answer this EVER.  thanks everybody!

they just called me at 1 45, the phone rang different then usual and when i picked up noone was there

just got a call from 1-140-747-8000 - stupid vacation crap.

I pressed 9 and waited for the operator.
When she came on, I told her my number was unlisted and I wanted it removed.

She said someone put my number in at a resort as a referral - I said not possible, we just got this number 4 months ago.

Then she said someone else probably had the number before (duh, I realize that) and told me to get my $hit together before I call!!

THE NERVE! THEY called me and I was just asking for removal - I wasn't even nasty!

Someone needs to ask their direct contact information. They should be charged too because THIS IS ILLEGAL to not include their proper call back phone #.

call from 1 140 747 8000 about 2:55 pm . Answered call\ taped message indicating ~"been selected for??? please enter xxx" etc\Hung up

called me at 9:45am. I didn`t know the number so I did`t answer. I can`t stand telemarketers!

10am this mornin - no one there when i answered.

it called at6:50pm on feb. 25th,2008. when i tried to call it back it told me to check the number and dial again, but it also sounded like someone had picked up at the same time and was listening. it repeated it in french, then some weird sound came on and hurt my ear so i hung up. very weird!

received a call from that number at about 1:45pm (eastern)today (wed feb 27 2008); no one seemed to be there, and I heard the phone disconnect.

i answered when they phoned, tried to tell me that i had won an amazing vacation package if only i would give them my credit card number, they tried to prove to me that they are legit, they call themselves tropical grand vacations. i told them where they could shove their vacation!

They called me at 12:06pm today, left no message. All it said on my phone was 140-747-8000. I've had Bulgaria and Paraguay call me before, so I googled it hoping I could get another continent in this year. No such luck *laughs* At least I know I'm not alone =)

Received call at 5:30 pm Feb. 28, 2008. I didn't recognize the number, so I let the answering machine get it, but no message was left. The phone number looked odd so I googled it, found this site and now reporting it here. Thanks to all of you who reported, I now know not to answer - ever.   Thanks!

Phone calls from this # repeatedly I don't answer but a couple of times left messages on machine can't get # removed from there list

Call received at 6:09 pm Feb 27th/08. Message stating we won a trip. Hung up as soon as I heard that....second time today it has happened. Two trips in one day...boy we must be really lucky. No caller ID displayed. The display showed Unknown Name.

Googled the number & found this page.

The phone number looked odd so I googled it, found this site and now reporting it here.

NEVER ANSWERED CALL BUT I RECEIVED ONE NEW BRUNSWICK CANADA

Call 1-140-747-8000 came in tonight, looked odd, you know '747'.
Thought it was a Jumbo Jet... Anyway reverse lookup failed so I goggled and here I am.

number 140-747-8000 called on Feb 25 2008 at 6pm.  The answering machine kicked in and they did not leave a mesasge.  I queried the number online and found this website.

got a call - no answer - reverse lookup did not work - i googled the number and found out it is a phony

call came in, as soon as a free trip was announced I hung up.

a man called and said I won a trip then asked for my credit card number. I said I didn't have one so he hung-up.

same as previous reports.My answer machine kicked in and I heard some of the message, but it cut off before finished,still heard part of it.These american numbers should be banned from calling into canada,as they are a nuisance.

they called, ran their automated spiel about my amazing opportunity (!!) I pushed nine as directed to request that my number be placed on a do not call list. when the man answered (with his horrid accent) I cut him off mid word and asked to be put on the do not call list. he said that his company does not do that! I immediately asked to be transfered to his supervisor, he sounded worried, said he would and that he was putting me on hold. the phone was immediately disconnected - NOT put on hold. I activated a trace call with my phone provider and tried to call the number back to yell at the supervisor but (surprise surprise) they do not accept incoming calls.

They let it ring about 20 times but I didn't pick up because the number looked fake.

Got a call tonight from 140-747-8000 they said I won a trip, I asked to have my number removed from the list and they hung up on me before I could even finish, I would love to have a contact # for them.
