A guy called and started talking about my credit card Visa. He didn't identify himself. He said that he was "authorized" to call me, but he didn't say by whom. I could hear talking in the background. I hanged up. He didn't call again

Got a call yesterday at 3:47 from this number.  Automated woman's voice said "you're going to die".  That doesn't sound like a telemarketer to me. Has anyone else received a similar call from this number?

One of the scammers called stating that he was calling from Bell Canada and wanted to get Personal information. Speaks broken English.Seems south Asian pakistani. Beware. He will collect personal info, sin and credit card info.

I could hear alot of talking in background .Some dude with broken English asked if I was Mr(girlfriends last name). When I said "No,How can I help you?" He said" F%$# YOU." and hung up.

Calls several times a day.  Shirft worker can't sleep.

Got a call from this number, 3-56pm Friday 8th. October. Nobody there, dead air. I don't see this area code number in any of the area code number lists. Is it an automatic dialler from tele marketers somewhere in the world?

Received a call from this # at 8:10 (Sept. 28) no one said anything.  Dead air!  Hope this isn't someone trying to get free air time.  Hope that Bell Canada can identify this culprit.

GOT A CALL FROM THEM SAYING SOMEONE HAD HIV IN OUR HOUSEHOLD.

Got a call from this number this afternoon around 5:30pm.  I picked up the phone, but no one talking at the other end.

Got a call from this number several times, a guys with broken English ask me to be his friend and won't hang up.

I got it at 7:00pm SHARP.

No one was talking for about 5 seconds. Then I heard an automated "Goodbye"

I received a call from this number at 7:30 p.m. on September 23rd.  They left no voicemail message.  Interestingly enough, I contacted head office of Bell regarding their long distance telemarketer and they said it would take four to six weeks to remove me from the list and stop receiving calls from them.  I am wondering if it is the same source but different number.

Get yourself a whistle and when these scammers call, wait until you have a live person on the other end and then blow that whistle.  I guarantee you they will quit calling back!!

Hi same thing happened to me got 4 phone calls, one name was Gally another name was Albert, anyway thanx for letting me know its Panama, I also called Bell directly and reported it and contacted phone busters.

Also received the same calls saying from Bell Canada, when I told him that I am on the no call list asked my name and I refused it, he said he would keep calling even in the middle of the night, same number as above.

Called and said that I had won a trip from VISA and they just needed my credit card info to send me the "package." Said no thanks and hung up.

Called from this number.Pretended to be Bell Canada, offering very low prices and no contract than asked for CREDIT CARD  number.Obviously no real company ask for this info over the phone.

had a call from them this aft, thanks so much for all the replies here.. just googled up the number as it looked strange...didn't answer...now very glad i didn't!!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Visa/Mastercard head office and wanting to verify my personal info.

When I asked when Visa and Mastercard started using the same offices and told him I wouldn't give info over the phone, he hung up.

Keeps calling my house and asking to speak to my daughter.  Reported to police.

Called 4 or 5 times this week alone. Everytime I say hello there is no answer.

SCAM. Caller has some of your credit card info & looking to get 3 digit code from back of  card.
We have called card nco & cancelled the card

I got this call from 4-162-030-0000
The number appeared on my caller ID and my answering machine showed they tried to see if somebody was at the end of the line.  The person sounded like they had an accent.
