164 is country code for Tanzania, It's a scam to get your contact info and banking info. Tell them nothing! Better yet, don't answer. Ignore them.

This is the worst number Like this that I have ever had calls from!  Like the previous posts, the person on the other end of the line just hangs up when I try to tell them to stop calling me and then almost immediately, they call back again!

They called at least 5 times today in about two and a half hours :( The caller ID comes up as "New York, NY" but I don't know anyone in NY so I don't pick it up.

164 is the International direct dialing code (IDD) is an international telephone call dialed by the caller rather than going via an operator. The term international subscriber dialing (ISD) was used in the United Kingdom and Australia until the terminology was changed to international direct dialing. Since late in the twentieth century, most international calls are direct dialed.
International calls are made by dialing the international call prefix for the country one is in, followed by the country calling code for the country one wishes to call, then the phone number within that country. When phone numbers are published for use abroad, they typically include the country calling code, but replace the international call prefix with "+" to signify that the caller should use the prefix appropriate for their country. (For mobile phones, the plus symbol "+" can be used instead of the prefix.[1][2])  so if we can figure out how to look up the number 684-3625 and find out what country it is coming from, we might be able to find out what, if it's legitimate, company is trying to call & harass people.

The number calls my cell phone about 4-5 times a day, when I answer, no one responds, I say hello a couple of times, still no sound on the other end.  I hang up, I have unlimited minutes, so I don't care, but don't waste my time.  I'm a mom, an employee, and a wife, I don't have the time or patience for someone or something to play around on my phone.  My kids school could be calling, while I'm answering their ridiculous phone calls.

This person keeps harrasing me as well repeatedly from a number of phones. 348-965-4259, 617-704-9653. When I answered they just mumble incoherrently

they have called too many times to count and the funny thing it does not come up properly on my caller id. When i press to see last called recieved it comes up as out of area dumb scammers playing games again pretty sad need to get lives.
