While searching this area code "178" for information I found this page.
I have no idea on how to call this number... Any Ideas?

178 isn't a valid area code. So I figured the 1 rang up accidentally and it should actually start out
781-613-060(fill in the missing number then get back to me). I think text now could not recognize a number with the additional country code. 1 being the country code for the united states btw. That's why number are 1-800-xxx-xxxx, 1-877-xxx-xxxx, or 1-781-613-0601

I have an iPod touch and I got the same " I called you " message that everyone is getting. O I also use that text app as well.. I think it's just the company trying to get u back on the app after it goes unused for a while and if not then we are all doomed!

Okay geniuses, I called the number back. The area code is not valid for calling or texting, so no worries about getting random prank calls or of you having psycho stalkers on your iTouch or iPods...'cause that's possible! It is probably related to a recent upgrade to your texting application. Let it go and take it up with the company, not random blogs!
