I've been on the 'Do Not Call' register for around 12 months but still average 8 or 10 unsolicited trash calls a week, so I generally screen all calls. (PITA)
Anyway, this dude who calls himself Gavin just left a garbled message to call him back on this number.
His 'company' sounded like 'Multicom Corporation' - probably as genuine as his name!
He mentioned a second number: 142298.

transpacific/byondglobal is a SCAM!!!!!! they say they are registered in bribane but try calling etc they are not!! they are a scam in india!!! do not be silly enough to give them any info about you or someone they are asking for!!! they say they are a debt collection but refuse to send any docomentation detailing the debt! they just want you to deposit money in to there account!!just keep hanging up!!!!!!

byond global or transpacific (transpacific is their client who has outsourced thr business) originally transpacific is a debt purchase pty have purchase debts frm various financial institutions like st.george bank,GE creditline and PLCC vision..even i get calls did a google search got thrgh the in depth knowledge..which i am sharing here...

they aren't a scam previously was repcol which is an oz pty...but byond golbal has taken it over and they r vry much registered in brisbane...
to get rid of the calls dont hang up on them simply speak to them they cant do anything apart frm calliing you every hr...so itz betta to spk to them and clarify

Some blog has explained about this company and have copy & pasted the same to help people.Have drilled the byondglobal -Gurgaon-Delhi-India collection agent and have got the details.Promoters have cheated many companies,harrasing our life by making unwanted calls and have ruined many employees future.Call many more times day and night and disturb them as they do with us.

we had 'Paul Harris' calling from 'Trans Pacific'.

Same deal - wrong middle initial, wrong DOB, wrong address - I made them tell me what they had, rather than tell them. Their details were all wrong. They had rung us persistently for many days. Hopefully this will be the last of it.

They did tell me they are register in Australia but calling from overseas.

If they call again I will be doing something about their Australian operations. This is harrasment.

Some very rude man from 'Beyond Global' called my sister (don't know how they got her number) and asked for me.  They would not tell her what call was about "very important private matter".  Said I had called them from my sister's phone number.  She refused to give out my details, just passed on message to call 1800 179 276 with ref 132262.  Have called several time, but no one answers the phone, "too busy, call back later".  Looked up the comment from Jaw about Byond Global website and saw they have different 1800 phone numbers so it can't be them.

someone from 'Beyond Global' called when i was out today. my son answered and an indian man told him to get me to call him back ASAP on 1800179276 regarding "personal matters". I called them back and gave them my name, they then said they would recieve my message for me (after much agressive conversation) they then put me on hold for a long time. That is when my son got on the computer and found this website, i hung up immediately.
DO NOT CALL THEM BACK i believe this is a scam, they ask for a lot of personal details such as D.O.B, Name, Address etc.
they have not called me back yet but i'm afraid they will. what can be done to stop them doing this?

Received a call from 'Brooke' yesterday but couldn't understand surname or company name.  Left a reference number and said it was very important that we call back - obviously after reading these messages it has gone into the bin.  I hope this is the last of the messages.

Thanks for the information, Jaw. That makes sense to me. Though I've no knowledge of debt collection but I understand if it is a debt collection company, an employee would not be allowed to disclose the information untill they know for sure that they are talking to the right person.  

Even I received that v/m few days ago and was wondering who it might be. I have never taken any loans or had any bad debts, may be they were just mistaken. Now I'm thinking whether I should clarify.

Well some people just get harrased out of nothing. Some of the people who are crying for harrassment should better have known not to take loans and then complain. They might be Indians and not so educated but atleast they are following the company rules. We are better educated and have better facilities here, so I expect us to be more understanding than them.

This person Basil Jones is non stop calling my grandma, and asking for loan amount of $1,786.89 which she has'nt applied for that amount ever, or other. She has never had loans in her life before. So please stop harrassing people that are aging. Anyways there is something wrong with the ABN number its written ARBN number and a wrong telephone number, scam that is.

We have had exactly the same experience as Jaw, they called almost daily harassing me about my husband.  My husband has a common name and so they just kept calling and accusing my husband of being the person they were looking for, even though we challenged them constantly.  They eventually asked to verify a Date of Birth which was of course wrong (they were seeking someone in his 60's, we are in our 30's) and said they had the wrong person.  We have a phone trace on our phone (organised by Telstra) and have reported this company for harassment.  Apparently they are not allowed to do what they do, so if you are having problems, get a trace set up (the first trace through Telstra is free, otherwise it's $5 per month), record the phone calls and them report them.  If there are enough complaints, hopefully they will be stopped.

They are a Debt Collection company that tries to find debtors that may have moved from their original addresses, by calling everybody in the country with a similar name and asking for their Date of Birth.  Once somebody gives them a matching DOB, they start searching for other assets owned by the person at that phone number.  They won't tell you what they are doing because if you were the debtor you would just give a fake DOB and they would not be able to pursue you any further.

Have been receiving calls every evening from an Indian fellow. same story...knows my name wants my date of birth which i wont give him and then becomes quite nasty when you insist on knowing what the matter is about. When I hung up I had barely put the phone down and he had rung again this time my husband picked it up and  and he wouldnt give up with him either told my husband he was calling from India. He has rang every evening since a couple of times and last night because I wont answer anymore put a message on the machine saying I will be in troubkle in the future if I dont respond to his call and left a number.

Male, with sub continent accent stated he was from Beyond Global, claimed his name was Ricky BRIAN.  Wanted my Date of Birth, was looking for a person with similar name just wrong middle initial and Year of birth.

My son was receiving calls at his home phone from a man named "Ricky" demanding my private details he used my sons surname and my christian name. My son requested his number and he gave the 1800179276 ext 3167 with a file number 30627 this is scary.

you guys got dudes. i got some indian chick who wont stop calling and like blah she doesnt listen or get the fact that we want nothing to do with whatever shes selling or whatever. at least they tell you guys what theyre doing or what theyre after, this lady just goes please tell your mum to call and i ask whats this reguarding and she goes its a private business matter, i go im her daughter shell tell me either way and she goes no. f*** these people.

Man by the name of Rodger Collins from "beyond Global" called my sister asked for me. There is no explanation as to how he got her number as she has just moved and was given a new number. "Rodger" would not explain why he called but it was a finacial matter and he needed to talk to me urgently. Would not trust this guy or company. If it was urgent they can contact me on the same number I have had for 12 years.

A man called Jack called me many times regarding "private business matters", but he actually asks my address and other private information before his "private business matters". Of course, I won't give any of those info to him, but he's keeping disturb me. He said he's from company called "beyond global"
