I've gotten calls from these fools for the past 3 years, I'm surprised no one has shut them down yet. It is really annoying, and Microsoft would definitely not have Unknown Name caller ID.

Filing fruitless complaints with the DNC serves no purpose and only creates the need for a bigger trash can.
The FTC reported that over 90 percent of all complaints registered with the DNC registry were invalid and not prosecutable. Reporting hang-up calls, calls that leave no message, and unanswered calls were among those listed as complaints only, with no possible solution.

"Microsoft will not make unsolicited phone calls to help you with your computer."
That is from Microsoft's support page. DO NOT trust anyone calling from this number. It is not tech support. It is called phishing, and it is a practice to take advantage of you and get you to willingly hand over your personal information. If you get a call from people like this, report it.

I got a call from an individual claiming to be from Microsoft who would "help me protect my computer". In the background you could hear what sounded like a large group, I assumed it was a phone bank. Seems funny the NSA can track people visiting porn sites but is helpless to track down these jerks who steal data and identities. MacAfee recognized that site as dangerous.

Hackers calling from this number claiming to work for microsoft and telling you that you have a virus and your personal information is all over the internet. They will also ask you to download a program from teamviewer.com. this is a vpn program that will allow them to control your computer and steal all of your files. Beware
