I have recieved two of these calls, one being last year & the other today. Man with Indian accent saying theres a problem with my computer, I told him there is no problem with it & that I know this is a scam & to dissapear & multiply & I hung up!!! The first time I had to take over the phone as my husband was about to type in what they were saying & I was immediatly suspicious, they even tried to ring again when we hung up. Do not attempt to follow their instructions & end the call Immediately.

Just had the same caller.. proper scam I'm an I.T Consultant and knew it was rubbish but can quite see how others fall for it.

An Asian voice told me there was a  problem with my computer..That was as far as i went.. before hanging up....

Just had a call from them, Indian/Pakistani woman saying there was something wrong with my computer this morning.  They caught me out last time as I was on my computer and I let them in to fix the problem (stupid I know) but when they came to the last page they demanded £189, then the penny dropped.  I took their number and rang them back it was an 02 number in London.  When I said I had no money he got really rude and my son took the phone and told them he couldn't understand what they were saying.  I had to pay over £100 to wipe my computer in case they had put a virus on it.

Just had a call from this number & a woman with what sounded like an Indian accent spoke and told me I had a computer, realised straight away something wasn't right so when I said no I didn't have a computer she went very quiet & at that point I told her not to ring my number again & hung up. Just hope I don't end up with a charge to my phone bill cos I answered it :-/

just called me too a woman with broken englisha nd when i spoke it repeated back to me i could hear myself, thing is im on my computer now....... can they actually get into my computer :S

called me this afternoon told me i had a problem with my laptop as i downloaded something and it was corrupt, told them the only downloads i do is for windows updates he said well it a problem with that, he didn't like it when i told him that it done updates last week and has worked fine he told me he needed to access my computer and needed any passwords i have on it i told him in plain english to fcuk off not even my husband get my passwords, he then got really cheeky and told me i was going to be getting a bill through for wasting his time told him to go ahead and send one and that i will take it to the police as well as the phone number and let them deal with it he soon hung up.

So be warned don't give out any passwords, or go on any websites they tell you to

1800456324 called and told me i had a problem with my computer and asked me to go to my computer so they could talk me through a repair procedure.
Indian woman's voice and a really bad line. I told her i was in IT and hung up. Obvious scam

Called by this number this morning, very bad quality and caller had an indian accent.

They claim to be affiliated with Microsoft and told me my computer had accidentally downloaded corrupt software and that I should turn my PC on to access their website.

When questioned as to what software and exactly how they'd know I'd installed it, they were evasive and repeated "Microsoft" several times but instantly hung up as soon as I said I was an IT engineer and thought they were a scam caller.

It goes without saying but DO NOT go to any website they give you or pay them any money.  It's pure phishing.

I am getting several calls a day from this number. So far, I have rejected the calls as I only take calls from numbers known to me.
