not only does this [removed:lang] keep calling , he said he's the manager . but when you tell him wrong number he starts to verbally insult asking questions  about my dead sister and sits there and keeps insulting you when you try to talk .he said his name is Mike , [removed:lang] is lucky there in new york or I would find him and show him how I kiss my dead sister.

They insist they're not a debt collector but some sort of investment, service, and debt resolution company. They are hacks.

I received a call from a Mr. Fritton. He started by asking a few "fishing" questions. I told him I wasn't going to answer. His friendly demeanor changed and he began insulting me and threatening to file a lien. LOL. I asked him for an address to send a cease and desist letter and he started off giving me a PO but abruptly hung up. I called and requested the PO again and he hung up. I called back and a secretary answered and she asked for my address and wouldn't give up an address, she hung up. I called back and she threatened me with a harassment charge-a criminal offense. I called back, she threatened me again. These people are the worst. Another number they use is 716-256-1875. I think it's an employee's cell phone. Who knows? They are secretive, unscrupulous, liars, who can't make a living any other way. Don't believe their threats. They have no power. Have a little fun with them. It'll piss em off. LOL.

My guy was Mr. Fritton. Rude, hack, loser. I used to get calls from Shapiro-who knows could be the same guy. Also talked to Jenell (sp?).

When I kept calling them back after they hung up, they threatened to have me arrested for harassment. LOL Apparently they can call me but I can't call them. They talked about an old credit account that doesn't exist. They are liars. I asked Jenel for a fax number so I could send a cease and desist letter. I tried to send it but the number she gave me was no longer in service. Surprise surprise. These people are unscrupulous hacks and cons. Too bad they can't find employment elsewhere. But I'm sure nobody will hire such low lifes.

I was just told literally 10 minutes ago the owner of the company is Zach Mitchell. He also started every conversation with him as John and then told me its legal in NY to use an alias when calling. Is that even true or is that false representation? They are trying to get money that I do owe but I don't want to send it to a fake company. He also sent me to a paralegal that told me that the attorney I have is ignorant for having a paper trail on paying. After screaming at me on the phone and cussing me out he calmed down and said he didn't want to work on a Saturday and that if I didn't pay he would have my job. What is this company about? Or where do I go to find out if they are legit?

IF I FIND ANYTHING INVOLVING OUT OF STATUTE DEBT, BEING ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST I WILL RECOVER MORE MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY AS IT IS A FINEABLE OFFENSE WITH THE VICTIM TO BE PAID UP TO 1.000.  THEY DISAPPEARED FOR SIX MONTHS AND ARE BACK BUT I HAVE REDONE MY DO NOT CALL LIST.  BEWARE!

They keep calling me and leave nasty messages. They are also calling my brother and sister-n-law and are telling them I have committed fraud. they can kiss my a**

They are a debt collector.  If you want to have fun with them, advise them of the FDCPA Laws, Fair Debt Collections Practice Act......it is illegal to contact you more than once a day and you need to advise them to cease and desist your number....Once you advise them of that, if they continue to call you, sue them.   If you act like you know more than them, they will stop the calls.  Cease and desist no longer has to be in writing.  Advise them the call is being recorded.

Sorry, Fair Debt Collections Practice Act......not federal debt

If you want to have fun with them, advise them of the FDCPA Laws, Federal Debt Collections Practice Act, and advise them they are only allowed to call you once a day and if you advise them to cease and desist calls to you, they are not allowed to call you anymore, according to FDCPA.  If they do, you have a lawsuit!

Block your number with *67 and call them back every few minutes. That makes them mad. Funny. Everyone that reads this should flood their numbers with blocked calls.

Dan Shapiro, Mike and Ross are all scum bags.  They leave messages about a lawsuit.  It's a scam.  They refuse to give any info about their company.  They won't give any info but want personal infor.  Mike first said he was an attorney, then later said he is not. There are several phone numbers they use.  866-803-2879 & 716-829-1866  They have your home number and family cell phones.  None of us owe any debts.  I think they are looking for people and try and harass you to get info.  We don't know a Bridget Donnely so I don't know why they keep calling.  They ask for personal information.  I told them they legally need to send something in writing if they are trying to collect a debt but since I know none of use have a debt then they need to stop calling.  Mike continued to call so I had a little fun with it.  He threatened to call every five minutes.  They are all very rude and try and be intimidating.  Totally unprofessional which is another red flag that it's a scam.

I received a call on my home phone answering system from a Dan Shapiro who was trying to reach my ex-wife of 34 years ago.  He also called my current wife's cell number asking for my ex-wife and he called my son's cell phone asking for my ex-wife. My wife told him she did not know the person he was calling and had never met her. He then asked if she was sure she didn't know her. How arrogrant of someone to suggest they might know someone whom you've said you don't know. My son said he had never heard of the person they were asking for. I have lived in a different state from my ex-wife for the past 14 years and surely they should have enough intelligence to know if this is a debt recovery call, the address on the loan and the phone number are not the same as the phone number for the state I live in.  I have called their number 716-829-1863 twice but yet to get someone to answer. Once I speak with them and let them know they are calling my personal phone numbers asking for my ex-wife of 34 years ago, if the calls continue, I will interpret this as harrassment and persue legal action.

Nichols and Grant said they were a files claim office...or a claims file office, whichever.  They are a shady bunch of scum suckers in my opinion. So this description used by Atlantic Recovery Solutions makes me cautious in dealing with them. Don't know what that type of office is. Never heard of it until recently when I started getting illegal calls from debt collectors. Got a call from a so called process server saying claims and charges had been filed against me and said a lot of other BS. At the end of this "processor's" message he gave the number of N&G to call and find out the nature of the charges. N&G was what they called " a nationwide attorney's claim office".  This is why I am hesitant to talk with a debt collector that says they are a claim office.  Should be something simple for them to explain.

Atlantic Recovery Solutions is not BBB accredited and was started in December 2012.  The president of the company is a Zachariah Aga. At least that is the info I found on the Internet. The calls show from Buffalo NY but the address of company is not Buffalo. They do have a website.

A legitimate company does not have a problem telling ANY caller what their company name is and what they actually do.  A company that refuses to identify themselves or their line or work is definitely either very shady or scammers.

First call a Dan Shapiro left voice mail stating he was with ARS and a claim was being filed against my name and social in county they think I live in.
I called back within a couple of days and I blocked my number. A person named Mike answered and noted that my number was blocked. I asked what ARS stood for and he stated it was Atlantic Recovery Services.  I said that oh then you are debt collectors to which he said no not true at all but that they were a file claims office. Tried to ask what did that mean but he refused to say anything else until I identified myself.
I called back a bit later and Dan Shapiro answered and again my blocked number was mentioned.
I asked what ARS stood for and he told me ARS means ARS but I kept on until he said Atlantic Recovery Solutions. He was very argumentitive, even called me a hard head a few times. He would not explain what the file claims office thing was nor say anything unless I identified myself. He eventually ended the call by hanging up on me.
I won't say either of the two guys I talked to were exactly rude and they wished me a nice day but both were evasive in explaining what a file claim office was.
