This number called us endlessly, and never left messages.  Just appeared on caller ID and we don't answer unknown numbers.  When we finally had enough and answered and confronted them, it turned to be PNC Bank regarding an account.  Apparently the "186" exchange either allows anonymity, or is a cheap method of calling.

Caller says I must give her certain info or she will continue to call  I told her not to call anymore but to no avail

these people have called our house 20 to 28 times a day starting at 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. They never leave a message some calls are 3 to 5 minutes apart I would really like to know what to do about it. These people are complete idiots when you do not answer the phone they still continue to call they are harassing people for what?

186-662-2265 calls my house 5-10 times per day and has been harassing me too long - the caller is rude and forceful when I do answer, but really doesn't state why she is calling.  I have asked her to quit calling, but they have not listened.  I am calling the phone company today to see if anything can be done.  I have excellent credit, so know it cannot be a credit collector, it has to be some sort of scam.

This number has been calling our home for the last 3 days at least 12 times a day beginning at about 8:30 am until 9:00 pm.  The first call asked us to please hold for an important message, of course we knew it was not important so we hung up.  We never got even a message after that, when we did answer it was like a dead line and then circuits busy signal.  We are on the do not call list but without identifying who they are the Attorney General's office cannot do anything about it nor can the phone company.  We even took our phone off the hook for portions of the day just to not hear the ring...who are these people?

Just called the phone company, they have no record of the number, and say that area code 186 is invalid. They told me to file a police report for the harassing number. This number calls me all the time, usually when I am sleeping or early in the morning. If I do answer the call, usually there is nobody there, or the number hangs up. When I try to call the number back, the message says you have cancelled all of your requests to call someone back, please hang up now. However, I have all phone add ons such as caller ID, call forwarding, etc.
