I just got a call too left no message.

2 calls in one day but no voicemail.  I live in Arizona and I have no clue in hell why a New Jersey number is callin me!!

In the USA there is a phone spam Law.
I found this number coming from New Jersey
when ansering the Phone you have to speak very loud for the voice
machine to start talking to you. And then asks to speak to a rep.
by pushing the number 1 button on the phone.

TOO ALL, CALL THIS NUMBER BACK AND ASK TO BE REMOVED FROM THIER LIST. IT IS AN ILLEAGE PHONE SPAMMING COMPANY. IF YOU DONT THEY WILL NOT GIVE UP ON CALLING YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I jUST DID AND TOLD THEM IF THEY DID NOT STOP A LAWSUIT WOULD BE COMING AT THEM.

i keep getting this same call and is always busy if you try to call them . What a joke, but on who?..do they receivemonies from the tele company

Was a solicitation for a pre-approved mortgage at 3.5%

I have received voice mail from this number telling me about low rate Mortgage. I live in Arizona and have received several calls from this number. Today I blocked the number.

no message but called twice this week.

I have a slight answer, although Im pretty sure they forward this to a company that will call for other reasons as well.
The other day I was trying to find a place to check my credit report, I had already gone to the annualcreditreport.com, but since thats once a year from the date you did it.... and so I was looking at trying to find places that I could do the free trial without having them try to charge the full amount to my card.

My friend was helping me search and found this one site and I went to it and it looked interesting like it would show me the credit report, etc., but after filling in the standard email address and phone (like you do), it sent me to a page that said, Thank you for your application, a representative will contact you shortly'.

I know this call is coming from that. I dont remember what the initial site's name was, but the page it took me to was creditattorney.com

Recieved call..no message

I got a call from this # today. I didn't answer but it was a recorded message..It was a solicitation to try and sell my property, (funny-I don't have any! I hate these calls.

This number called 1/7/08. I didn't answer. No message left. Suspect this number is a purveyor of cell spam.

I received a number of calls from (201)215-1773 first stating they could lower my monthly intrest rates, than on another call informing me they were a hard wood flooring store? The number was unidentified on my cell and I didn't pick up but they call me at least once a week. I just added my number to the national do not call list but we'll see how well that will work.

My mom and I both got calls from this number today on separate cell phones. I called back and I heard some nonsense on the other line.

I didnt pick up though... i never pick up if i dont know the number and let them leave a voicemail... but no message was left...

call came in but did not ask to speak to some one in specific. seems to have been a pre-recorded message. glad to know its all a scam

Sorry for the multiple posts.  I'm just worked up because they won't stop calling.  I did call the 201 number back and didn't immediately enter the option to be removed because I wanted to speak to a person directly and let them know that what they are doing is illegal.  The woman was hard to understand because she was mumbling but she was rude after I told her it was illegal and I wanted to be removed.  The rudeness didn't bother me, really.  She sounded like she might be used to saying, "Do you want fries with that?"  But I also did find this little blurb from the Direct Marketing Association's website:

An urban myth has resurfaced in recent days claiming that proposed directories of cell phone numbers are being compiled for use by telemarketers.

Although there may be efforts to compile cell phone directories by phone companies, such directories may not be used for unsolicited telephone marketing calls, according to a 1991 federal law. The 1991 Telemarketing Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) makes it illegal for solicitation calls to be made to wireless phone numbers without clear permission from the individual to whom a number has been assigned

I've gotten a few calls from this number on my cell phone but haven't answered.  They always leave a message but the beginning gets cut off.  It's not about credit cards but about getting me a low mortgage rate.

This number called my cell phont but left no message.  I am out of town so I don't know yet if they called my home as well.  I called back to be removed but I also asked them who they are where they get their lists--she told me they do debt consolidation, so I asked where she could have possibly gotten my number, since i don't have any debt, and she said they get it from a large database (nice evasion).  I asked her to please remove me because I beleive it is illegal to telemarket a cell phone and she said that it hasn't been since 2005...interesting.  IT SHOULD BE, since we are charged or debited if we answer and in many cases, even for the minute they may use in leaving a message.  ANNOYING

Missed call - no message

Somebody keep calling my cell, I try to call several times to report this phone number but apparentely it has not been removed from their list.

THIS PHONE# HAS CALLED ME ABOUT 10 TIME'S IN THE LAST 3MONTHES I WISH THEY STOP

I got this call tonight at 7:45pm or so- no message left. They called my cell number.

why calling

I have gotten a called today, I did not answer. Has anyone thought about they could want your name since they have your number for a scam?  I advise do not give out any information you can go to the web:  www.donotcall.gov

I've gotten phone calls for the last week or so from an "restricted" number.  I never answer restricted numbers, thinking that if it was important they can leave a message.  I received a phone call from this number and I didn't get the phone in time, and they didn't leave a message.
