Keeps calling and when I answer they just hang. will not stop calling

These people continually call me on a daily basis. Oh, but its not during the day, its late in the eve. When I answer the phone no response from caller. The calls started about 2 weeks ago. At one point I was able to call the # back & it gave the option not to be called. Push 2, I did. The calls are still coming in and  it now says ther # is no longer in service. I want these calls stopped.

I have received or missed I don't even know how many calls over the course of the last week.  The problem is that they never actually say anything.  There is no noise on the other end of the phone line, and only hang up after the third Hello, when I am forced to ask, "is someone there"?  So without an explanation as to who they are or what they want, I think it might be hard to stop them although I definitely want it to end.  It is ridiculous to recieve calls like this.  They only last 8-10 seconds anyway.  What good does that do to call and hang up?

Use a compressed air horn directed at the mouth piece of you phone. Works well for all annoying calls. Can be purchased in the sporting goods sections of most major stores. CAUTION> Very, very loud.

I keep getting calls from 201-221-3967. No one is on the other end. 3 people reported the caller is Jenny Marker who lives somewhere in New Jersey.

Just received one from thsi number for the first time.   The way she said my name it sounded like a latino or filippina.  I don't owe any money so it can't be a creditor.  After  she said my first name, I hit a button on a gadget that interrrupts the call and says to take my number off thier list.   Then I blocked the number from futher incoming calls. I have a sophisticated caller ID that I bought from Radio Shack over a decade ago.  It is still superb.  I called the number back and it says disconnected.

Same story as yours guys! When I am trying to call back,it's says this number is no longer in service,yet they keep calling me every 10 minutes!!

Friday night they called eery 30 minutes for 4 hours straight.  Only one time did it actually go to a person, every other time it was a hang up.

I receive at least 5 calls a day from this number.  I have repeatedly told them to stop calling.  They will call as early as 8 am. I am on the do not call list.  They told me I requested information, I told them I didn't.  I have filed complaints with the FTC. It sounds like the same lady.  She hung up on me this morning when I told her that I had asked to not be called anymore.  I didn't even yell, I was just firm.  Next time I am going to ask for a manager and go off.

I had received more than 10 calls a day within the past three day from both this and 2012213818. My friend talked to hher in Mandarin and a women answered and ask her if she is me!!! That means she knows my name!!!! Scary!!!!!!!

Same thing here too!!!!!!! I keep trying to call back and says # not in service- with both the 201-#'s !!!!!! It's so frustrating, both my husband and I have yelled at them to stop calling !!!!!!!!!! They ask for someone named "Pat" - I tell them there's no one here by that name, and to stop asking for him/her!!!! Then they go into their spiel about making money, blah blah blah and I say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STOP CALLING and hang up, but they call at least 30x a day if not more! UGH!!!

Thanks, I had no idea you could do that. I wonder if landlines will let you do that as well? They call my house phone non-stop even asking for a Pat, and there's no one here by that name and we've told them so many times, but they STILL keep calling! FRUSTRATING!!

My boyfriend has been receiving the calls from the same number about every 5 mins as well. I don't know why they keep calling, but it's pissing him off just as much as it's pissing me off. But when i call it with my cell, it says that the number cant be dailed. And i tried it 3 times..

How could you have spoken with someone if the number has been disconnected. I've answered or called the number back to find it is no longer in service or disconneected. So here's a good question... How is it possible for the number to even call in the first place?!

Seriously, turn it off.  Really annoying.

every 5 min. I receive calls from this # and nobody speak. Ringing and ringind.....Some sick person doing this.

My wife is getting this call as well.  About 20 times in the last hour.  Very annoying.  We tried calling it back and got the "Customer Service" recording that others have said they have received.  This is completely frustrating!!!

This number, and 221-3963, have called repeatedly. When we answer, there is no response.

I'm getting tired of whoever this is calling my phone all the time,15 times within 5-7 hours! wth! People need to get a life...my cell is prepaid with minutes and they are using all up. "they dont even say anything" You really need 2 quit harassing people,keep it up and ill find out who you are, You know ya wrong!

So far today I have received 20 calls from 201-221-3963 and 3967.  Sometimes my phone doesn't even ring but it detects I missed a call.  They are calling my cell phone so I went into Verizonwireless.com and blocked these two numbers from coming to my phone.  You can add up to 5 numbers that will be blocked for 3 months,  They come off your block list after the three months but you can add them again after 3 months if need be.

They called yesterday once and tonight twice. I answered tonight and no answer. All three times were from 201-221-3967. No long distance from home phone so called from cell and got recording saying "Thank you for calling customer service, to talk to a representative press one, to be placed on our do not call list press two". Pressed one and heard "Due to a high call volume all our representatives are busy, please choose another option from the menu". Pressing one again didn't change anything. Stop calling us.

This is a sick individual. Calls are made often with no one responding when the call is answered.

Received many calls from this number, several were hang ups and others times were asked about on line money making offers then disconnected. Spoke to one of their reps this evening, They state they were with "Automated Online Systems" Reps name was Krisha Alejandro. Asked her to remove our number from their  records. Will see how that plays out! Also receiving calls from 201-221-3968 (New Jersey). So far haven't talked to anyone from that number.  Any time I called those numbers a recording played asking if I wanted to talk to a rep, press 1, when I did it, nobody ever answered. If you're a telemarketer and reading this...GET A REAL JOB AND STOP BOTHERING PEOPLE!!!!!!

Im sick of this person calling my phone then hangin up,.. all time of day and night i want it stopped!
