They have been calling me about 10x per month for the past six months...isn't this harassment?  I've asked EVERY time to be put on the DNC list, and yet nothing has happened except MORE calls!

These calls have been coming in for the past 3 months. I agree that it's very annoying. They don't leave a message and I haven't spoken to anyone when I do pick up the phone. I'm going to try the Do not call list, but I hope they stop.

They finally stopped.  Referring back to my previous posting, I continuously called the 866 number and hung up.  Then, when I could tell they were getting annoyed and that I was on a speakerphone, I asked them as polite as possible if they have been getting a lot of hang ups, they said yes and I said "now you know how we feel".  The woman was puzzled and actually sounded a bit sympathetic.  They legitimately thought something was wrong with their lines and had called their supervisor to see if he could figure out waht the heck was going on.  they politely told me they would take me off their list.  It's 9AM and I have not received a call yet!

they call and call and call and when you answer they hang up.  then if you call then back noone answers and the recording comes on saying that the mail box is full

this number keeps calling and hanging up when i answer, then when i call it back nobody answers, and then a message comes up saying that the mail box is full.

201-266-0965  They call, and if I answer, they hang up!  Since I don't know anyone in Englewood, NJ I normally don't answer... BUT when it is 3 calls in 1 1/2 hours I do answer with my most annoying voice!  These people SUCK!

What I find most fun is to call the other number 866-362-5659 and hang up on them a few times (I've done it about 20 times now)

I called this afternoon and the woman assured me she was taking me off their list.  I received another three calls this afternoon.  I'm not sure what to do anymore -- but I will tell you this -- you'll feel ALOT better if you give them a taste of their own medicine.  And I'm pretty confident that they don't have a very large staff, because the greeting went from "Scholastic Funding" to "Hello"

They pegged me 10 times yesterday on a day off from work. Thankfully as it was a day off from work I had left the cell phone in the back of the house and didn't hear it ring.

They also called twice today, they let it ring for half a ring and hung up. I have no idea why they're calling as I have NEVER had a student loan.

I did call them back and left a voicemail message. I let them know to stop calling but didn't leave my number as I told them they obviously already had that.

I had no idea what these calls were. Thank heavens for this board! All I did was request grad school info from Vanderbilt. How do they get your information? It's REALLY annoying. I'm not even going to grad school in the near future.

They've been calling for about two weeks now and I have not been picking up.

Don't know how they got my number, won't stop calling, not even a student. When I asked for a phone number to reach their management they hung up. Complete utter a***oles who are a waste of life.

I have received  calls from this number (at least 3 times per day) for the last three days.  Everytime I answer, the person hangs up.

They just called again, so I called the 800-895-1911.  Think I got a load of b***s*** about how it's "not them" it's that other company.  They kept trying to get my name and I told them no.  Will call the 1-866 number the next time they call!

Called my cellphone tonight. I didn't answer. Called at 8:42 PM. Glad I missed. Not sure where they got my number. Not in school, no student loans, etc.

Keeps calling.  About 4 times now in 6 hours.  I answer and they hang up.  I try calling back and it's busy or no answer.

Thanks for posting all these msgs. I just started recieving calls from this number too, and before I answered, I googled it and found out that I'm about be unwillingly thrust into a world of annoyance. I also completed a Kaplan LSAT course! Apparantly they didn't feel like they had ripped me off enough with their b@l1sh1t course, they also sold my personal info. Go fig.
I think I have a solution. I prupose that everyone take a dump in plastic bag, put it in a box and then mail it to Kaplan headquarters. Don't use your own name or address or anything. Use your local waste management's or be creative with it. And if you can't bring yourself to use your own feces, I suggest using your dogs' or cats' at least. We'll call the campaign "Kraplan" It's about time we fought back. Who's with me?

This number has called me 8 times in the last 10 mins...get a clue, wait, maybe I'll just sue you!

They called my work number and after I continually told the woman (with an accent) that I was at work and unable to talk she kept asking me questions I finally told her I was not interested because she could not understand that I did not want calls at work.  Now she is calling my cell at least 3 times since 7:30 this morning. Irritating I am putting my number on the no call list.

This company's name is Educational Direct and their contact info is as follows: 910 Sylvan Avenue Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632, www.educationaldirect.net, info@educationaldirect.net, other phone numbers are 1-800-895-1911 and 201-569-3704 (201-266-0965 is probably a main line they call from). I received over 20 calls from them in less than 3 days. They don't leave voicemails. Sometimes they hang up when you answer the phone. I have filed complaints with the FTC, FCC, and my state Attorney General's office. I have also notified my cellphone service provider because they have been calling my cell. I am listed on the do not call registry. If you have a cellphone, it is illegal for a telemarketer to call you PERIOD! (Even if it's not listed on the do not call registry) No telemarketing company is allowed to call you (cell/home/business, etc.) before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.

started getting unwanted calls from 201-266-0965 recently.  i don't answer the calls and they don't leave a msg.  does anyone know with whom to report the abuse?

I received 5 calls in one day form this number.  I was away from my phone at work but found out afterward.  I am on the Do Not Call list and have just finished reporting this.
