I just got a fast call and hang up from this #. I called it back and it was I won a 100 gift card. They said on a VM if I would like to be removed press 2. I did it and I have an I Phone and I can block the # as well so I did that too.

1. Two rings
2. They hung up
3. Checked 800notes
4. added to "reject list" on my android phone.

This number called us on 4/8 @ 11:08PM!!!  CID indicated number was in Newark, NJ... rang 3 times, we did not pick up, they did not leave a message.  Unexpected calls at that time of night are UNWANTED!!!

It only rang twice then went to "missed Calls" Who calls other than to harass someone like this?

I received a call on my cell phone from this number and looked online to see who it belongs to and am glad I did!  Evidently this is a scam company out of Ghana that purports that you have won money but instead tries to get money out of you!  Do not answer or call this number back.  This number says it is from Union City, NJ.

A creepy man's voice said he was Anton Lavey and was recruiting members for the First Church of Satan. What a cheeky twit.

April 9,2014 -- I got a call from 201-279-5861 at 9:09 a.m. today.  My phone rang like it does when I get a text message but when I checked there was no message.  I then looked it up on the internet to see who it was and found out it was a New Jersey number.  I don't know anyone in NJ.  Sounds like some sort of scam to me.

Rang twice. Not going to bother calling it back. Strange that I'm on the national do not call list and still getting these calls.

Almost let the cell phone ring one full time. No name, no number.

2nd call in a week from this number. One or two rings. Some type of scam. Didn't call it back. Don't know anyone in NJ?? Some of these want you to call back and charge a high fee!! DON'T call it back

Same here rang one time and hung up.

"Calls Blacklist" app is my best friend. I block whoever, I want whenever I want, for as long as I want, no charge. There are plenty of apps like this, I just happen to like "Calls Blacklist."

Call came thru on Cell--Rang 1 time and a disconnect, I called back -message said to call back. I then began a google search -apparently this # calls everywhere.- My cell is for emergency only -No text message is allowed on the phone either. Very annoying -

I received 10 calls from this number in less than 3 hours what a scam they need to quit calling people on their cell phones and did you know that you can call an attorney and get $500 per scam call. How do they get our cell phone numbers they're supposed to be Unlisted!!

Received missed call. No voice mail. Used the blocking option on my phone to send them str8 to voice mail if they call again.  

Phone rang twice coming from union city nj.
Did not answer. However there was recently a news broadcast alerting people not to return single ring phone calls which are a scam or risk being charged money for international calls.  See the link.

Unwanted call

Called rang once and I am not calling back. I am on the do not call list so shouldn't be getting this. No message left

Same as other reports - phone rang too quickly to even answer (1 ring).  Looked up this number on this site (love this site...) and I will not be calling them back.
