Received a call from 201-285-5421 on 6/12/2014 at 3:08pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Vonage". Did not answer and no message was left.

Based on the comments posted here I have added this number to my GV block list.

vonage    Don't they know if I wanted another phone company I would look myself on the internet. and this waiting for them to say something to you after you say hello. Don't they know you don't like saying hello hello hello.

They just called for the 3rd time, he said he was with Vonage, he asked to speak to a person (by first name only, an unusual name I didn't note down), I said "I don't know who that is, this company has over 50,000 employees".  He thanked me for my time and wished me a great day.  I didn't even have to lie, LOL.  We'll see if they keep calling.

Cool! My first spam message on an office telephone!  Why my cell phone has been a nearly daily victim from spam numbers and not my office phone has been a mystery to me.  1st call from this number, voicemail was dead air.  2nd call left no message.

I got a call from this number today.. Just acted dumb as if I do not understand English... Just kept saying no English no English hello hello hello hello... She got pissed and hung up...

It's the company that's at fault, not the individual worker (that is, if it's a legitimate company and not a scam).

They should comply with 'do not call' lists and not use automated diallers which are responsible for many silent and dropped calls.

Getting this type of call is frustrating.  However, the people that are calling may have no other job options.  They are people just trying to put food on their tables.  So, I either don't answer, or say no thank you.

When did it become appropriate to be so rude to people.  If someone knocks on your door trying to sell something you simply say 'not interested.'  This is the same thing.

Vonage phone company, they call several times a day and don't leave a message, I did answer when they first called and I told them I was not interested and do not call again...which they failed to comply!!...

I have been in contact with Vonage customer service twice today.
I had never had a problem with such marketing calls as this or any others for that matter, since being a Vonage customer for at least six years until this last week.

My experience has been that Vonage is very responsive to complaints. This is the reason I like Vonage, they will get back to you if there is an issue they are aware of. In this case it was the same day. Okay here goes, the representative told me that there have been problems with the marketing department which will be resolved. Also the auto prompt system is undergoing maintenance.

If you will contact them at (Be nice, they are sincere.) (866) 243-4357 and let them know that you are being bugged by their system it will help you and them resolve the problem. I know that, sometimes marketing and the central organization of businesses can get diverged in focus and potential customers who get offended does not help business.

I will post an update when I have an answer from Vonage.

I'm gonna to call Vonage & give them $hit! I specifically said NO to any promotional calls and/or junk mails. If they don't stop, I'm gonna to switch to com-wave (I bet they'r all the same, but at least they know customers ain't kidding on privicy issue). >:/

This was Vonage calling to ask me to add services to my phone "to save money".  They didn't tell me the services came with a monthly fee!  I asked if it would cost money, and they said "No".  I asked if it would ever cost me money, and they talked for 2 minutes before I interrupted and demanded a Yes/No answer. "Yes, the charges will be reflected starting with your next monthly bill, post-dated to today".  Jerks.

Got a call from this number. No voicemail

This number has been calling us and we have been ignoring it for a long time. Just an irritation especially when you are in the middle of doing household chores.  They just don't quit!! Is there any good, effective spray to get rid of these pests?

This is Vonage calling to try to get you to switch to them.  I told them if they want me to switch to them, then they can pay my phone bill.  The girl got smart with me and I told her that I wasn't the one calling to get me to switch from the company that I'm happy with to a company that doesn't offer half of what I get with my present company.  She hung up, but I'm still expecting another call.  Guess I'll have to get belligerent with the next one.  These people are a pain in the butt and call you even though you're on that joke "Do not call" list.  What a waste that is......

Is there not a law that don't allow telemarketers to call people late at night? I know in other countries it's not allow and if done that company will be fined/sued. I got a call just now from Vonage after 5 P.M. but if they DARE call my phone after 8 P.M. I will be looking for a lawyer online to find loopholes to sue any telemarketers who think they can call anytime they please just because they're a business.

Answered the phone and it was Vonage calling to let me know that they can now provide phone service in my area. Very pushy and annoying

Funny.  The call I just got left a message.  And I quote "Hello, Hello, .....What the F?"

They call early and late at night. Crazy. I thought you werent suppose to call passed 9pm. They call at 10 or 11. Asshats.

It's Vonage telemarketing. If you call back stay on until you are connected with an agent. Then ask to be removed from the calling list. Two days of getting a call every hour was ridiculous!!!

this number calls me(home phone) every day, some days 2 times/.....
is bothering us a lot..... Anything that I can do to stop them calling...?????????????
