I received a text from this number asking if I wanted to be a part of mystery shoppers and was sent an email by this person named James Woods telling me how to be a Mistry shopper and that I would be sent a Money order and to go to my bank and cash the money order and keep out $200 for myself for payment and Western Union the remaining amount of cash to a certain address..... come to find out, other people have been scammed by the same person. The money orders that are being sent from this person using this phone number or counterfeit and people That go to cash these money orders are having their bank accounts frozen and money taken out of their account by the bank to cover the counterfeit money orders that they had cashed.
The name given by the person using this number is James Woods.

first they called from this number, no msg left,  then turned right around within the same minute and called from 865-291-1470...  called the 201 number and recording said sorry call cannot be completed but I called their number....... called the 865 number back and a recording told me "NOT IN OUR DATABASE"     ??????????????????

Card Services asking me to return their call to lower the interest rate on my credit card. Here's the problem. They don't know the account number and want you to give it up. Don't. It's a credit card scam. They get your number from the white pages or even the Internet because some jerk felt it was his political position to publish it. Surprisingly, not many people know about this scam, even though it's been evening news material.

Am on the do not call registry. Do you appreciate these calls that think they are exempt from the registry.

They called several times. They wait until the machine picks up and then hang up, never leave a message.

Same as above - continuous calls, no messages left.  Caller ID says it's a cellular call.

I answered this call with the attempt to find out who they represented and "Sam" told me that they represented all credit card companies.  When I asked how he got my name because I don't have a credit card, all I heard was click.

Got this call while we were at court for bankruptcy.

Missed call from this number - no message.  reverse lookup says "this is not a valid number" ?? Okay then. Just as well I missed it.

Got the same thing this morning.

Received call from the 589-1256 number.  Caller ID said "Out Of Area"  I answered and robo-voice said was from card services regarding my credit card....I hit 1 then waited and hung up on the male voice.  Asking to be removed from their calling list does no good.  There are hundreds of ppl out there doing computer phoning.  Being on the Do Not Call list does no good either....just another waste of time.
