Got a very threatening call ( actually 3 messages before I called back ) stating I owed over $300 to Apple Computer from 1991. Never owned and Apple product, never purchased an Apple product. The call center operator was rude and demanding that I pay up immediately. This is obviously a fraud operation and a true scam. The number on my caller ID was 201-942-4057. The call back number was 866-837-7739

I recieved a call from 201-942-4057, reference debt collectors, but i never had account with said company, i ask for contracts and papers to that efect and they could not supply they said , so Scam did not work, be careful when calls from this number, is a scam .

They told me that I didn't pay a verizon bill from $300 from 2002. The funny thing is that I wasnt in the country on that date.

I also got a call from this number today, left a msg on my cell phone vm.  After returning the call, a woman told me that we owed money on an old Verizon landline which we haven't had in about 10 years (plus, we still have a Verizon account so they would have let us know at some point that we still owed them money).  Wanted us to pay over the phone and if we did so, would be willing to waive all of the interest charges.  Of course I said I'd need to think about this and get back to them, and promptly went to investigate the company (dynamic recovery solutions).  I'm just mad that I even bothered to call back.

Got a call from this number, they left a message with my sister saying they received my paperwork and for me to call "Ana" at 888-402-0960. When I called back it was a collection agency. The person I spoke to was a complete @$$hole! I told him I have no debt and he argued it with me!

I just got one of these calls today from the 201-942-4057 call.  Stated I owed Verizon $501 and change from 2004.  Although I have been a Verizon customer since then, I do not owe any debt to them, in fact I just paid last week my monthly bill and wouldn't be a customer for so long if this were the case.  

I told this nasty person that's not possible, and he immediately tried speaking over me.  I yelled at him that if he does not let me speak, I will hang up and that whatever it is I owe, I told him to prove it to me by mail.  He continued to speak over me and said he would not mail anything and then hung up on me himself.  

These guys prey on the weak, innocent and ignorant.  Do not pay anyone any money for who you don't know who they are or prove the debt is even owed.  I've reported this number to my local consumer affairs bureau.  Hopefully enough people complain that they are investigated and tried for a scam.  I'm also looking into filing with the FTC.

I got a call from this number saying she was a debt collector and was calling to collect $1,600 for a Verizon bill that was created in 2002!!! I was in high school in 2002 with no bills!! I told the lady she was calling me on my Verizon phone so there was no way in hell I owed them $1,600...

Scam debt collector. Contact the feds if you get one of these calls.

These people call and say they are attempting to collect a debt.  They don't ask for anyone by name.  Don't pick up these calls.  If it's that old, the original company has already written off the debt. These people buy it for a few dollars and get it's pure profit for them.

Blind call and rude on machine. Attempt to collect a debt.  ? ? ? ? ? ? We are smart enough to know not to answer and call like this because it makes you responsible whether accurate or not.

this is a scam debit company they not only called my work number against texas law, I then strongly and rudely told them never ever do again or I would sue.  When I asked what the debt was they mentioned a credit card charge off of 15 years ago.  So I let them have it and they said they would put me on the sees? and desist list.  Let?s see.  These companies are phonies do not fall prey to them and do not be polite to them either. other number 866-606-9942 name that was left is a Ms Casesinger

"This is Mrs. Walker, I have an urgent matter." I am not addressed by name. Doesn't say from where she is calling.  Call back number is 866-421-4998, but call came from 201-942-4057. AT end of call, she warns that this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtianed will be used to that end.  Great, except I don't have any debt. Must be a scam.

She calls me as debt collection agency, and somehow she has my soc.sec.# about some debt.

ask for a superviser to talk to!  
ask for a file #!   know your legal rights, if you have any debts check for  "statue of limitations". There are some nasty people out there.

I too got a call from some guy at this number saying that my number was what they had on file in their office.. said it was of a urgent matter to get back in touch with them.. also said he was from the offices of DRS but at no point in the msg said who they were looking for or what it was in reference too... now i keep getting calls from a blocked number and its driving me crazy.

Someone name Ms. Wayne called and said that I was the emergency contact and asked to call back to a 866 number.

was in holland tunnel, couldn't hear caller, was looking for a man named Pat, I'm a woman named Pat, left an 888 number saying it was of urgent importance.    Message also left at work by a sweet sounding young girl with a 877 number.   WTF?
