Received the same call from 281-674-5980 total scam, he asked if I knew why they were calling me and I said no why dont you enlighted me.  He hung up...something about drugs purchased off the internet.  Dont fall for it.  Happened last year about the same time.  Good luck!

I am an attorney in the New Orleans area - received the same message, that Sgt Anthony Williams from 281-674-5980 called and had an arrest warrant out for me. As soon as I told him that I was an attorney, he immediately hung up on me.

I got the same call from a texas number 281-674-5980. said he was dea and had arrest warrant for me about online prescription drug buying.

The call came from 281-674-5980. The man claims to be officer Johnny Wheeler with te DEA and says there is an investigation and says charges are being filed and a search warrant being issued!!!!

How do they know my personal information?  I received a call from DEA Officer John Sullivan.  415-632-3401.  Badge Number 83318 Narcotic Division #79.  Dismissal Department  Sargent Anthony Williams.  When I told him I was looking him up and saw it was a scam he hung up on me.

I was targeted yesterday from a 202 436 9770 they took 290 dollars of mine they sound very professional to start with then when u start questioning anything they get a very nasty attitude please don't answer this number if they call u. It is  scheme they mans name is rodereck blassingame and I have filled report with police.

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public about criminals posing as DEA special agents or other law enforcement personnel as part of an international extortion scheme.

The criminals call the victims (who in most cases previously purchased drugs over the lnternet or by telephone) and identify themselves as DEA agents or law enforcement officials from other agencies.  The impersonators inform their victims that purchasing drugs over the lnternet or by telephone is illegal, and that enforcement action will be taken against them unless they pay a fine.  In most cases, the impersonators instruct their victims to pay the "fine" via wire transfer to a designated location, usually overseas.  If victims refuse to send money, the impersonators often threaten to arrest them or search their property.  Some victims who purchased their drugs using a credit card also reported fraudulent use of their credit cards.

Impersonating a federal agent is a violation of federal law.  The public should be aware that no DEA agent will ever contact members of the public by telephone to demand money or any other form of payment.

The DEA reminds the public to use caution when purchasing controlled substance pharmaceuticals by telephone or through the Internet.  It is illegal to purchase controlled substance pharmaceuticals online or by telephone unless very stringent requirements are met.  And, all pharmacies that dispense controlled substance pharmaceuticals by means of the lnternet must be registered with DEA.  By ordering any pharmaceutical medications online or by telephone from unknown entities, members of the public risk receiving unsafe, counterfeit, and/or ineffective drugs from criminals who operate outside the law.  In addition, personal and financial information could be compromised.

Anyone receiving a telephone call from a person purporting to be a DEA special agent or other law enforcement official seeking money should refuse the demand and report the threat.

I got a call yesterday on my cell phone.  A "officer John Sullivan with the DEA Narcotics Division Unit Badge #A3317" . Phone # 415-251-4625 He left a message and asked I  call back immediately re: an ongoing investigation.    
I called back and he said I had ordered "diet pills" online and committed a federal offense.  He had a warrant for my arrest etc.  Told me to get a federal lawyer.  
He then "transferred" me to "Sargent Anthony Williams badge # A1018" who told me that he could stop the judge if I went within the hour and got $5000.00 worth of "greendotmoneypack" cards totalling $5000.00 and called him back with the numbers of the cards.  When I asked him which "Job address" he was sending the DEA to arrest me at he got flustered.  He did however know my home address which was scary.  
Don't be fooled.

Got several threatening phone calls from 202-241-1605. From guys posing as DEA agents and one a sergeant(?) Shawn Green. Nasty guy. Threatened me with arrest, finger-printing, searching my house, and in a later call with agents coming to my place of work to arrest me. I suppose, they first wanted to have some fun with me and get me good and worried with their repeated calls, before they went in for the kill. So, I never did find out what they actually wanted. But they had way more information on me than I was comfortable with. When I contacted the local Sheriff's Department, a deputy there informed me that it was a scam; and - no - there was no warrant out for my arrest. He advised to ignore all calls/messages from this number, no matter how outrageous they got. Will do:)

I just recieved such a message. Its is a fraud and they are trying to scare people. ABC did an investigation back in 2012-13 concerning these scam artists who offer a way out thru a payment. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.  They are creeps who prey on unsuspecting people with fear and intimidation

They need to get a new game. Everyone is onto these fools. They all sound like they didn't graduate from the 7th grade. Really ignorant and lame. Laugh and hang up! Oh and maybe call them and tie up their lines. They love that.

Whave taken reports of the same from two numbers 202-241-1605 and 281-674-5980. They claim to be Agent Jay Burgman and Agent Kevin Miller. Do NOT send any money as it is a SCAM. Report it to the DEA at 877-792-2873.

I also received a call on my cell number who reported being Jay Bergman and he transferred me to Matthew Barnes, the numbers were 312 428 6094 and 202 241 1605, they both stated to being with the DEA, were very abusive and basically told me I was going to be arrested unless I basically admitted to doing something wrong and paying a fine through greendot.moneypak. The information was very fishy from the beginning, but they were threatening and saying there was already an arrest warrant, even though I told them I had never lived at the street they provided and never signed for any drug package, as they were claiming. recevied a call on my cell number from someone who reported being a dea agent named Matthew Barnes his phone number was 206-497-1041- after harassing me on the phone and claiming he had an arrest warrant our for me he transfered me to a Seargant Jay Bergman at 202-241-1605

The phone numbers are 312 428 6094 and I was transferred to this number 202 241 1605

They are scammers please post up their number so that I can report them to the F.B.I

Call received 2/1/13 stating that I had received drugs from over the internet and that they were coming to arrest me. Man gave me a name of DEA Agent Shawn with his DEA badge number and that the DEA would be sending out officers to arrest me if, at this point I stopped him & said that I did not know what he was talking about, I had never ordered drugs over the internet. He said that he had an arrest warrant for me, I told him to come on, I was waiting for him. I have tried to call him back several times to get more information and no one answers. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?????
