Please please please don't send any money. This is a complete scam. I fought back. The middle eastern men who call repeatedly to my job and home home common American names like "attorney" Steven Johnson. They claim to be from First State Attorney General Office. I answered and heard all they had to say. He threatened  me and said if I didn't pay I was going to get arrested the next day by the police. He spat out my social and bank info!!!! I got scared. I called the bank while he was on 3 way and had the bank to verify his story. It was a lie. I hung up and told them to never call. They still call. I told him to send me a copy of the so called affidavit. Has a paralegal look over it and called the police and filed a complaint on the company, rep/attorney, and gave them the email address and phone number. The police called them as well as the paralegal on my behalf and both told the company not to call me. They are still calling. I don't wanna change my number but I will. Don't give them anything and file a report for harrassment.

Exact same thing as stated above lol. He really didnt speak clearly and they said that I was going arrested for fraud.

yes i did get a call this morning @ 6:20 am on friday march 30th,2012 the guy who called me he doesn't speak english that clear i told him i don't understand him so i hang up on him  but he called me back and leave me the message he said that he called from attorney office for me to call back otherwise he will get me arrested i know i didn't do anything wrong if u see this number 202-241-4329 just hang up don't waste your time to talk to them. what a joke because my name is not an american name they think i'll be scare : P not a chance Ha...Ha...

Yes, just received call from same number with Mid-Eastern accent. Called me five times in about 10 minutes, on two different numbers, including one for work. I told him to never call back each of the first four calls. The fifth went to voicemail.

He left a message on that call, stating my SSN number and saying I would have a lawsuit against me on Monday if I don't call back. Very scary. Please stop him.

i just got the same phone call that all these other people have gotten an he said the same thing to me that i owed a debt for a loan i got an if i didnt send him money with in the half hour i was going to be arrested for fraud..i then called the place he said he was calling for an that  informed me it was a scam an that i was perfectly ok..so lets keep reporting this number so that maybe just maybe one day this person will be caught...an he had a heavy indian accent an stated his name was steven johnson..so everyone please be on the lookout for this man to call u an just know dont send him anything..

I JUST REICEVED A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AN THEY STATED THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED FOR FRAUDING THE URBAN TRUST BANK..I THEN CALLED THAT BANK AN THEY SAID ITS A SCAM AN TO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY WHAT SO EVER SO LETS ALL PLEASE KEEP REPORTING THIS NUMBER SO THAT THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE WHO JUST MIGHT SEND THEM THE MONEY..

I to have been receiving a call from a man with a real heavy accent , saying the samething that I took money and didnt repay...What ???

I have not got a lone and there calling me and my old boss . I don't owe anything and they better stop.

Keeps calling and does not leave a voicemail. I answered it once and a man said he was an attorney and was calling to collect a debt but could not tell me what debt. Keeps calling and will jepordize my job if he doesn't stop.

A man with an Indian accent called me,telling me I was In trouble for fraud and he was going to take me to court and jail for an owed a payday loan,which i have had in the past but to my knowledge had payed them all back. If I had made an oversite,I'm sure I would have heard about it by know,since the payday loans I got were in 2001. When I told him i was on disability and could not pay today,but i could set up a payment plan he became irrate,threatening me with jail,court and $7000 in court fees,and hung up on me. The only reason I did offer to pay anything was that he was very convincing and had me quite upset.He also started reading me this affidavit that I could barely understand,because of the accent.My Husband and friends convinced me this was a scam,and that I was in no legal trouble,plus then I remembered,even if i did have an outstanding loan,the statute of limitations is i think either 4 or 7 years. So now I am calmed down,LOL,but I just wanted to share my experience with others who may receive a call from this number.

Calls all the time, same crazy threats detailed here already. The only additional info I wanted to add is that I never got a payday loan, actually filed for bankruptcy two years ago, maybe that's how I got on their target list. Also about this time last year I got all these same calls, they lasted a couple months then stopped for almost a year.

I am so glad I have found this page, because I have been receiving phone calls from this number for the about 3 weeks now, and its aggravating. But now that I know who it is.. I can get rid of them hopefully or I'm going to have o change my number.. But it is a man with a heavy accent and he tries to tell you if you don't call him back or if he doesn't hear from your attorney, you will be summons to court.  I believe it is a scam and hopefully they will be caught soon.

Received a phone call that said I owed over $500 for a loan I had and notpaid.

He had a heavy accent and demanded that I get an attorney since I will be going to court.

I  told him after checking his phone number on google and pulled up this page and saw it is a scam and they should be arrested.

I have been getting phone calls from this number for about a week.  A man with a heavy accent, probably from India, left a voicemail telling me not to ignore this call and if either myself or my attorney did not respond, "God help you."  First I laughed, then I called the number back.  The man who answered said there had been a complaint lodged against my social security number because I had committed fraud.  He began reading an "affidavit" that said that First Cash USA had transferred money to my bank account, then when they attempted to transfer it back, it declined the transaction.  I told him I had not received any money and he was screwed in the head.  He started spouting something unintelligible and said something bad was going to happen to me.  I hung up.  I believe this is some kind of scam... because I had searched for a "payday loan" approximately 2 weeks ago.. I did finally get not one but two, from a reputable lender.  All monies have been repaid.
