Same MO. Claimed to be IRS agent Alfonso Thomas. Said there were 3 federal charges pending and arrest warrant would be issued. When questioned, he transferred me to another Sr Chief Investigator Officer (exact title as claimed) Mike Johnson who had even a worse accent than the first. At this point I hung up.
Scammers.

They are scammers low life people who do not have any conscience. Use names such as Mike Johnson or David Cooper but I am sure that they cannot spell these names. They have Indian accents and threat innocent people. They may be operating from India or Nigeria. These a***oles scammed many families and hope they get nothing good in life or somebody scams them. Apologize for bad language but they don't deserve anything good. FYI IRS/FBI or Immigration never calls.

I received the same call from 202-241-9653. Called the number back and was able to speak to three different people impersonating a federal agent. The last person listed three unrealistic charges and when I questioned him, he got quiet then ask what I would like to do. As soon as I told him that I don't believe him, he immediately state that the police will be at my house in 15 minutes and hung up. Very stupid people. The are scammers.

indian voiced police officer 'kevin peterson' lol called and left a message stating 3 charges against me for identity theft and to call him. the 202 number is what he wanted to call him back at. the caller id said a 201 number. he said call or he will start forward with the charges. Then hes he says good luck. Well he is more than welcome to send police from the east coast to come get us here in the midwest.
