We have received numerous text messages from this phone number, 202-350-1720, and 941-404-6063. Whoever has those numbers has an awful lot of useless time on their hands.
We started receiving the texts shortly after posting an ad on Craigslist. It was comical to think that someone from out of state was actually interested in what we are selling.

I got a text from this number after posting on craigslist asking if the item was still available. obviously a scam, be careful

I received the exact same call from the same number after trying to sell a part from a lobster boat on Craigs List

(this is what they texted me to my phone after I posted an ad on CraigsList)
"Good day,I am ready to make instant purchase.My mode of payment would be in form of a CERTIFIED CHECK or Cashier Check and i will arrange for a local pick up as soon as you get the check, because that is the only inconvenient means for me and due to my work frame i can not be able to get there and i promise eveything will go smoothly.I will give you extra $50 to hold it for me till my payment"
