call received @ 2:30pm; no message left.

called my cell phone, left no message.  No name or other info listed.

stop calling

called me 3 times today - 12:50pm, 2:48pm, and 7:57pm - never left a message

This is surely a scam with a DC prefix---they say they are a collection agency but yet when they call and you answer they hang the phone up.  they say they are from a company call LANDMARK.

i think they are with the washington post news paper.

"Landmark" ...self described debt-collector AND fundraiser.  In short, a multi-purpose telemarketing organization.

It sounds like a person (child?) just sitting quietly. There is some indistinguishable background noises. Does not sound like a business.

2 calls today, no message.  Annoying.

Same think happened to me today

This person is annoying!  They even call me on Sunday.  I had 4 calls from them yesterday.  My CID says it's from LANDMARK.

Receiving multiple calls from this number each day. This nuisance is alive and active.

I called back. It is a company named Landmark. The company says they collect "data". I do not know what that actually means. I was not going to leave a message and ask for a call back.

yep I was wrong about it being Geico, it's definitely the Post

downgraded my subscription to weekend only and they're groveling.

Same number called me this afternoon and again tonight. I didn't answer, no message left and looked here. It makes sense that it's the Post. I  dropped them last week.

have had several calls over the past several months but no messages. I have no idea who this is and wish they would STOP calling my phone!!!

Landmark - A training company

This number calls on occasion, always trying to sell me a Washington Post subscription... Yesterday, another call came in and a woman with a very distinct voice said she was calling from the Washington Post. I said I was not interested and to have a good night. Tonight, the number called again, I answered, and the very same distinct voice said "Why don't you lick it?" and hung up... guess she took my not wanting a subscription to heart. LOL!

I just saw this number on my missed call list.  I'm glad that I decided to take a glance at all the comments here.  Thanks for letting us know it was the Washington Post.  I cancelled my subscription with them a few months ago, but I'm guessing they want me to resubscribe.

It's the Washington Post. I've received many of these after cancelling my subscription. I was near my phone so I answered this one and finally got to talk to a live person. They want us back!

Not a Geico customer...

I received calls to my cell phone at 4:16pm on Aug 9th and 5:47 on Aug 12.  No messages left.

Not a Geico customer so doubtful it was a "service" call.  not interested in paying to find out who the number belongs to.

is it possible for anyone that this is a Geico representative in your region? I carelessly overlooked my quarterly auto policy payment. It may have been a courtesy call to remind me.

Serious call spammers are usually identified quickly on this site. I can see no other explanation at this time.
