Number is 202-407-7249 and Agent is Phil Ramirez. SCAM..they keep calling back after I call them out on their scam~

It is a year after this post.. I received a call from the DOJ ( agent rameriz) a different phone number but same area code..however the claim number was exactly the same as the one listed here... i called the 718 number and it went right to voice mail... i left my number and a message about a phone call from DOJ. within 30 minutes i got a call from customes in new york informing me i had a check waiting to be claimed and it was for 875,000 ... all i had to do was purchase an insurance policy and pay $ 4750 for that policy...it of course would be returned as soon as I received the BIG check... I did not have a chance to continue the conversation as some kind of line interference cause the call to drop..... Don't fall for it..first flag went up when the DOJ agent told me I had 875 thousand dollars in that package..( did he open my mail?) then he ended the conversation by saying God bless you.... Huh? Except for time lost on phone with these idiots, it was a funny attempt.... Sad, but some people fall for  it..

Same message from  phone number 202-370-7680. Claiming package being held by customs. New immediately it was a scam but how do we stop them? Where can I make official complaint/notification

Received call from this number also claiming I had a package worth 875000.
Foreign accent. He confirmed my home address. After I told he had the wrong person
He said he would return package.

Got a call from this number, foriegn accent. Kept asking for my husband. My phone is in his name! When I said he had the wrong number her kept saying IS THIS NOT **** "s phone? I finally hung up!

an arab called me from columbia and said his name was christopher adams from the u.s customes. telling me i won a $875,000.00 check and all i had to do was mall them a check for $4375 witch was .05% of the winnings for shipping handling and insurance purposes.   hope he annd whoever he works for die in a third world prison for stealing from americans!!!

I just got a call from this number.....the prior call subjects were NOT what he was saying to me. It was more obscene and vulger. I said he wasn't worth it and hung up. He called back and I put my grown son on the phone. Not sure what all he said to my son, don't want to know, but the caller was informed that we'd traced his call and was informing the police. As of yet, we've not heard back.

Just got the call. He said he was with the Justice Dept. and I won the publishers clearing house... I need to get insurance on the money before depositing at Bank of America.... Calling our attorney general now.

scam! said I won $875,000.000 from sweepstakes clearing house. Ha!

I also got a call from this number saying that I had won $850,000 from publisher clearing house and it was at the JFK airport.  I kept him talking for a while and he finally hung up.  I just checked my caller ID and he has called again.

Hector w/dept of justice calling that i have a package being held in customs from publisher clearninghouse.  Phone# 202-609-7034 popped up on caller ID.

Got a call from 1 202 609 7034, said he was with The US Justice Department and that I had won 875,000 and I need to call US Customs to set up delivery to my house. The winnings are from Clearing House and would I be willing to report the winnings the check is good and can be cashed at ANY bank. I don't think so!

I received a call today from 202-407-7179 claiming that I also won 875,000.  He said his name is Will Burton and that he is from the Department of Justice.  I told him at the start that I think this is a scam and I'm not giving him my personal info nor will I give him a penny for that check.  I said if this is real just give me the money and we'll call it a day.  He said the claim # for the prize is 002605173.  The clearing house phone number is 516-394-4372 and he gave a number to JFK as 718-690-9758.  I told him I didn't believe his scam and furthermore when everyone picked up at these 3 different phone numbers they all had the same background noise.  I called the Department of Justice to confirm and there is no one there by that name.  So, to rub salt in their wounds I call the "clearing house" and told the man that I am donating the money back to the clearning house.  He can have it.  HA!!

Male called and said that I have a debt to pay of $75000.00.  He claimed to be an officer of the Dept. of Justice.  When he was done talking I asked him for his name and number and I would get back with him.  Then he hung up.
