THISIS A SCAM FOR GOVERNMENT GRANT MONEY

I called the number back like they asked just to see how this played out. They ask you to go to western union but not tell western union the real reason you're there and then call them back from the parking lot and you have to bring a security deposit of 199.00 made out to one of your family members. Well anyway this is where I stopped him "John Wilson" with an accent so strong I could barely understand him. Damn Scammers!

Got a call from an "Anonymous" number just now. I don't usually pick up these unknown calls but since I'm home, sick, and bored, I picked it up and a woman with an Indian accent informed me that I am selected to receive $7000 for paying my taxes on time and not having a bankruptcy record. She said her name was April Foster from the US Government, Grants Department in Washington, DC and that I was selected among 1500 other people. She gave me an ID # and to call the Financial Department at 202-407-9187. She insisted that I repeat the phone number back to her even after I told her I got it just fine. (I wonder why is that?) I know this is scam right when she mentioned free money but I was curious on what she really have to say. I never fall for this seemingly stupid scams but it just irk me to think that she knows my number and my name. That's way too personal. Can't government easily trace these people up like how they do it in movies? lol

This service will lie to you just to get money out of you we need to find a way n turn the people calling from that number in like John Wilson and Stanley John.

I recieved the same call, did a reverse look up and it's to a mobile cellphone, in the DC area.

Got the same $6000 free grant call which took very long because I could barely understand the broken English he was speaking. Didin't call back the number because it smelled like a SCAM.

Is this a scam? They called telling me I am eligible for a $6000 Grant because I'm a good citizen... ???!!!
