I had a charge on my Visa bill of $72.11 + a foreign currency transfer fee of $.71.  It's from a fraudulent virus scan company.  Antivirus2009.

I did the same Antivirus purchase as everyone else on here. I then received a $64.90 fraudulent charge (bank disputed) and international fee.  Here's the kicker: contacted Geeks Mobile for computer repair (antivirus didn't work, big surprise) and my system is toast from the "antivirus."  Freezes, black screen etc. New computer on it's way, this one I'm on is being wiped out and re-cyled.  So it actually cost me $800.00 charge in all...

Keep your computer anti-virus programs up to date.  Stick with Norton.  There customer service is great.  Don't let your protection lapse.

this pop up calls itself something like SYSTEM GUARD.  it has a white or blue shield with a white or blue line thru it.  i kept getting pop-ups one night, and it basically blocked me from using my laptop.  that was two months ago.  last week, i kept getting a pop-up from WINPC.  it's logo is similar to Microsofts.  it even addressed me personally and mentioned the name of one of my cats.  i became suspicious.  took my laptop to STAPLES it has been a week.  my computer is so infected with this virus it is barely working.  the STAPLES staff told me these companies want your credit card number which they get when you purchase their product.  i used one of my cat's names as a password.  i have had to cancel my credit card.  i may have to buy another laptop.

Your bank account should be insured. I'd change the account number also. This company is a rip off. If you downloaded their protection, they have infected your system. Advise your bank to give you a new account number or they will continue to rip you off.

Id' cancel your card. The anti Virus us actually a virus itself. The download infected my laptop. It took CompUSA a Week to get rid of the Virus. CompUSA has a display at their counter warning about this company. I had to cancel my credit card used to purchase this Virus, and change my banking information as well. I just contacted my Creditcard agency and they are refunding the charge. Spread the word, do not download from CHRPAY/PNRA Anti Virus 209,360

The number for CHrpay.com/pnra is 1-800-350-6821.  Call and ask for your money back and they say they will credit it in 10 days.  Cancel your card. File a dispute if the charge does not go away in 10 days.

My credit card was compromized the same way for $79.95.  I believe it was started with an Anti that is so persistant that the only way to get rid of it was to agree to buy the 2009 Anti  program.  This was on my private work computer. It kept popping up "alerts" etc. looking like I really needed this program or they'd be serious damage.  Once I agreed, all the warnings disappeared. However, can't find the program listed as being on my computer and I also am no longer getting the pop-ups. Now my home computer is getting all the same popups and warnings and it's impossible to get rid of them.

I too have a charge of 49.95 on my charge card for this Antivirus software which I never received.    I have cancelled this charge card and have placed  DISPUTE with them for this charge.    Everyone who has been charged for this software should do the same.

Our agency computers were experiencing a computer virus.  This site actually came up as a recommended site to download to find the virus and correct the problem.  After we entered our information our account was charged $81.55.  The amount was actually taken from our bank account with the phone number listed 202 436 9063. We would like to find out what we would need to do to obtain our money back from this company as the telephone number isn't a working number.

Same experience as 'Lofton' reported above.  Popups on my computer were alarming as it found numerous viruses.  They were from a program called Antivirus 360....which is similiar to the Norton Antivirus 360 which is legimate.  This is a fishing attempt to get a credit card number which they can either use or sell to users.  After a few months when you stop looking for fraudelent charges....they can start up again.   You must get a new card and number for your security.

"Rip-off scammer!  Claims to provide System-Tuner for PC from a victicious company called SystemSecurityOnline.com" (Thank you Joe). I had wanted to use my copy two weeks after purchase and guess what it didn't work. The program disappeared. The next week it reappeared on our computer wanting us to make a purchase. I tried to contact them and I found that the number was not a working number. The phone number is 1-202-436-9063(out of Washington, D.C.). When I entered my credit card number, I was billed $105.40 from Cure-soft which is another victicious front.

This is a number listed on my bank account as a merchant who is a scammer off the internet for security.  They pop up on the computer and tell you you have thousands of veruis and to buy their software to clean them up.  When you do, they charge your credit card for $101.40 and the bank has this number listed as the merchant from the charges.  But when  you call it, it is alway busy.  When you google the number, you get all kinds of post from same kind of problems people got it also.  This number should have a block from them using it.

Rip-off scammer.  Claims to provide System-Tuner for PC from a victicious company called SystemSecurityOnline.com for a one time fee of $19.95.  As soon as I entered my credit card number, I was billed $101.40 from CHrpay.com/para which is another victicious front.  The phone number that's associated with them is 1-202-436-9063 (out of Washington, D.C.)which doesn't work.  Their software is also dirty.  My virus software flagged me to let me know their download was malicious software and stated this company . . . "Makes fraudulent claims about spyware detection and removal."  It will make you think you have spyware problems in order to purchase their product.  And the only product you'll get is software that compromises your identity and personal information.  Everyone beware of this low-lifer.  If you fall into this category, call your bank to let them know your credit card has been compromised and have a new card reissued.  Then file a Credit Card dispute with your bank and in 30 days, they will credit your card.  If you go to ripoffreport.com you will find PNRA will keep charging your credit card if you don't cancel your card.
