Received several calls within the past 24 hours ... when asked who was calling he asked me if I was doing an investigation on him and then hung up .tv... spoke w an accent ... called on 31 May @ 1222 pm

I did - the same as you - $7,000 grant.

As soon as I picked up, they hung up. They called my cell, which has an unlimited blocking ability, so they are now blocked.

These scammers don't even take a holiday.

Got a call on my cell from this number after 5:00pm on Memorial Day.  I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.  

I picked up and got a very thick Indian accented man on phone. He asked for me, and I simply asked him, "How may I direct your call?" Then without a word he hung up on me. When I called the number back the phone has mysterious ly been disconnected. Imagine that.

Got a call today from 202-456-4545. Strong accent man telling me I won a grant for $7000. I was waiting for them to ask for ss number and/or bank number; however, he did not. When he asked how did I want "my" grant, I told him to send it through the US mail. He said he could not send it that way. Then, he tells me I can get it through Western Union or have the amount put on a debit card. Fortunately, I watch the news faithfully. I only have a little but I be doggone if they are going to get that little bit. They want senior citizens and yes, I am one but I am not stupid. I wanted to hear their message. I wondered how did they get so much of my information. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! SENIORS! DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR HOKEY DOKE!

Didn't recognize the number I sent it to voicemail. Voicemail only recorded a buzzing noise. This is the second time today I have gotten a call from one of these stupid numbers.

The scammer from this number 202-456-4545 keeps calling me but I never answer the phone.

I received a call from this number stating that I had qualified for a 7,000 grant from the federal government. I was given two options to receive the funds. One through my bank account or western union. Once I chose western union I was given a code. I was told as soon as the women hung up to call 253-656-5109 provide them with your code and you will receive your grant money.

I called the number gave my code and the man talked so fast and low I kept expressing to him I could not hear him. As he proceeded to speak loudly he expressed that in order to receive the free federal grant there was a one time 200.00 fee that would need to be paid for processing. I expressed to him that if this was from the government why would they have you paying for the processing fee. I told the man this was a scam. He became angry and said if I felt it was a scam then hang up now. So I told him I was reporting the numbers and I hung up. DON'T FALL FOR THIS IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. SUCH A SCAM. THIS IS SAD THAT PEOPLE RATHER SCAM TO MAKE MONEY INSTEAD OF WORKING A REAL 9 TO 5 JOB.

I have been getting all kind of calls 202-456-4545,260-344-2791,521-738-7579,706-805-1880,713-581-2273 this is the same strong India accent man that keeps calling these numbers were all in one day different times. I have been trying to find a job at home I take care of my disabled veteran husband,I even looked into grants wrong thing to do,I thought we were still in America this is some bull SCAM!! One time I started talking in jibberish he got so mad an hung up they need to shut this guy down.I would like to pull him through my cellphone.

I've had 40-50 calls from numerous numbers all last night and all day today.....some want to talk
about a loan application.    One asked to confirm my SS number.  None would give me their supervisor on the line.   Sometimes they call every minute.

Call from number 202-456-4545 caller Id said Government Grants, but when I called the number back it said I had called a non working number. Unfortunately, I did ignorantly apply for a loan online and it is so sad, there are so many scammers out there, they even pretend they are well known preachers, I am saying this because I love Jesse and Cathy Duplantis and I got a friend request from Jesse Duplantis right, like he has time for me. Anyway, then I did receive FB chat supposedly from Pastor Duplantis all bible scriptures and speaking of sowing seeds, I have a feeling it is just a scam...kinda sad too...oh well...I may just have my number changed anyway or perhaps just cut off, I just need internet for school and I never give out my cell anyway..It is so very sad that so many of us are struggling so as is and then people out in this world can be so very hurtful and cruel. May God have Mercy on them,

Three calls in a row from different numbers all within five minutes.  I'm so fed up with scammers.  This one was from (202) 456-4545.  They have called before.  I don't answer; they don't leave a message.  

silence on the other end--possibly robocall that the caller did not pick up before the call was disconnected.

A woman saying a get $7000 Grant. She gave me an ID# and a phone number to call to have the money released.  After I called her out on her misinformation she asked me how I knew. I told  her I'm an American and know my States and their capitals since I was in grade school.  She hung up on me.
