They have called 3 times in 2 days. It is a pain.

They hung up before I could answer.

ACORN up to their tactics again.  Looks like the only people who are making comments on this page are folks not likely to vote for obama.  ACORN or one of their affiliates obviously has a database of non-democratic voters and are harassing us.  What a waste of their time, robocalls, etc.  Wonder if the callers are receiving TARP money.

These people call me everyday, even on Saturday and Sunday.

Incumbent Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia telling me what a great job he has been doing and asking for my vote in November.  A political campaign so exempt from do not call list.  Ironic because if he was half as good as he claims, I would have been home to take the call instead of sitting in the long narrow parking lot referred to in traffic reports as I-95.

Received call from 202-461-3469. Robo voice indicated it was a survey and asked if I was a registered voter. Wnen I answered yes, I was asked if I was pro-life. When I responded the call was terminated. This is an invasion of my privacy, and I want to know what actions can be taken to stop this type of call.

I've done some additional checking. I still don't know the source, but have learned that the calls are being made from a land-line in Herndon, VA, a DC suburb. Complaints range from political caller to telemarketer.

Got the call too... some political campaign call.  So my guess is that the company doing this is some marketing firm in DC who bids out their robo call systems to whoever will buy time and provide phone lists.  If it is political related, the Do Not Call list means nothing... they can call you no matter what.  The only success I've been able to find in dealing with these calls is that my phone service has a caller block option.  I can go to a website and enter phone numbers (such as this one) and I'll never get a call from it.  Never rings or anything.  They get a message saying "This number does not accept calls from your number".  Not a perfect workaround, but it seems to be helping with all the politico crap firing up.  C'mon Washington... get busy doing the job we "hired" you to do and quit wasting time calling me to tell me about what you're supposedly doing.

Got the robo call last night around 7pm.  First question was some semi-rambling, gushing, "don't you love the NRA for protecting your gun rights?" question.  The second was the "Are you pro-life?"  I wish they'd actually have a person doing these so my response of, "Of course I am, right up to the point where it hits the grill.  Then I'm pro-meat!" wouldn't have been wasted on them.

I AM TIRED OF THIS PHONE CALL LATE EVENING, O/A 9PM.  I DON'T ANSWER NOR AM I INTERSETED  I AM REGISTEED ON THE DO NOT CALL LISTED.

WHATEVER MY PREFERENCES, THEY ARE MINE AND THESE CALLS TO MY HOME WILL NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

they've called me a number of times now... if i answer, its always a recorded message, so I hang up...

was at a friends house (all of us 703) and their phone rang... they guy looked at it and said "202? now who could that be./.."  I knew it right away - haha....
I have filed a complaint.  I hope everyone here does.

I got a call, they left a message, and then they called my hubby. We both have non-listed numbers, as well are on the Do Not Call list. Neither one of us just give our number out. WTF?

Got a call on my cell.  Didn't answer, but got a voice message.  It was a message from the campaign "Chris Hughes for Judge."  I Googled him and he's campaigning for re-election to a Superior Court seat in Georgia.  Even though I used to live in Georgia, a) I never registered to vote there since I'd be moving soon; b) I didn't live near the town he's based in.

Called at 6:20 pm 9/29/09.  No message

They called and started leaving a long message about all of the problems with the proposed health care plan.  I tried to interrupt by saying, "I'm a registered Democrat! Don't call me!" but it just goes on and on, so I hung up.

Got a call from these f*ckers last night (Mon 9/28) @ 8:42 p.m., but on my cell phone......which I hardly ever use and a number I do NOT give out or use with frequency.  So this HAS to be a Robo-Call......only let it get as far as the first question about voting before I ended the call.  Real glad I didn't hear about the Pro-Life question!!!

So we all get calls that we do not like and google the number for information.  Political surveys come and go - Democrats and Republican. Honestly, I do not like calls of this nature but I do not get paranoid  about them.  Don’t answer the phone & don't participate in the survey!!  Some of you people must be very high strung and angry folks- cursing and hollering about “SCAMS” - you are only hurting yourselves and your health for sure.  Are these people who are calling scheming and  calling to profit by fraudulent means!!??  
If so THEN call it a scam .. Maybe look up the meaning of the word!!  Now, it might do us all good if we gave truthful information about the way we feel regarding our country and changes WE feel need to be made.  Just a thought~~

I got the call.  Asked if I was pro-life.  First junk call on my cell phone.  Now I have to get a new number.  You ought to be able to sent a 1,000,000 volt shock back through the system.  Called at 8 and I go to bed at 7.

I received calls from this number too. After doing my investigation, I found out this number is not associated with any company in or near Washington DC. So be careful when you decide to give out misinformation about the source of these calls. Just as you don't like these annoying calls, don't set-up some unsuspecting company or individual who is not affiliated with this robo call stuff. G'mar Chatima Tova (Yom Kippur)

Yesterday this number appeared on 3 family member cell phones at nearly the same time. Call backs all return a busy signal. It was completely infuriating to me.

I am on the do not call list & they still call

called my work blackberry and my personal cell the same day.

Called Sunday 9/27 at 1:04 pm. Wasn't home, they left no message.

Got the same call. Left a voice message "this is a political survey call, we may call back later" on my cell  phone. I am live in fairfax va. The caller's phone # 202-461-3469 .

I just got the call on my cell a few minutes ago.  

It's on the do not call list.
