I get calls all the time from (202)470-2365 and my caller ID identifies them as ACLJ.  The person never stays on the line and says anything. They just call and hang up.  They call every single day.  I  want the calls to stop.

Hung Up before I could say anything  Calling at night when my kids are in bed... thats a big NO NO with me...

I also got the call, ID said ACLJ, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker.  www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.

You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it.

They never leave a message but they call every day.  Annoying phone calls are NOT going to influence the way I vote. Jerks.

MadGrandma, if you're still paying a nickel for long distance calls, honey you need to dump your phone service and get a cell phone.  You can get them with no contract, pay-as-you-go if you prefer, or contracted through a large provider such as Verizon, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, WHATEVER -- paying extra to make long distance calls in this day & age is unnecessary, and you are getting ripped off.

Checking my phone bill and saw this number knew I hadn't called Washington so I checked it out here and found this information. Was only charged .5 cents but would like to know how I got charged when I know I didn't call them.Also had anouther call that said Venice 941-484-8378 for .5 cents I'm going to check that one out too

Opting out just gives these solicitors more means to validate that you are an appropriate client. I say that if you dont get more than one call, just let it go. If you respond in any way, you could be asking for more nuisance calls. A better question would be to find out where they got your numbers. Most lokely it was sold to them by the many companies that do marketing research with your common companies that you do web based contact with. This could include banks and any other businesses, believe it or not.

A 10 week old baby in the womb can suck it's thumb as has been shown by ultrasound on numerous occasions, so it is plausible that a fetus could and would feel pain as well.  Why people call and hang up is another matter altogether, but I just wated to comment about that.  I have no idea who is making these calls.

I received this call many times over the past few weeks. I searched it and it's a Christian based pro-life company. They are probably just supporting their pro-life views.

Female called.  Said she was "calling on behalf of the Solcitor General; need to check to see if I can speak with you...Mr. XXX did you know a baby can feel excrutiaing pain at 20 weeks...".  I hung up.

DECEPTION!

Called 12-23-11 Friday and left no message.
