Tried to scam my elderly parents out of $300 by having them pay $300 via money order (kindly reduced from $900) in order for them to receive a $450,000 grand prize.  My parents ignored the letters they sent, but they called anyway.

This person said he was the financial person agent robert peterson and angelo lopez, assigned to assist me with me getting my my $450,000 award from sweepstakes of america, a branch of publishers clearinghouse.  they said in pennsylvania, there is an insurance award that i needed to pay, which amounted to $900.  and, that i needed to use western union, a branch of the us govt, to pay that fee to pa, to get my delivery.  
after about 30 minutes, when my coworkers kept interrupting this call, they disconnected.  

This idiot who called Jeff Gold an idiot is the real idiot.  Thru jeff golds efforts my family and I recieved a large cash award.  Now we are doing very well and have nothing to worry about.  This idiot who wrote about Jeff Gold doesn´t even have the right phone number.  My family and I deeply appreciate everything that jeff gold has done for us in the past.  We now have a beautiful home in panama, and jeff gold can visit us anytime.

This idiot named "Jeff Gold" called my daughter in law stating he worked for the Federal Trade Commission and launched an investigation into Rose Ann Bigsby. I called this number and identified myself. I am a Criminal Investigations Detective with my local Sheriff`s Office, attached to a Federal Task Force. Gold returned my call and I missed his call. He proceeded to yell into the phone stating that he is a GS14 investigator and that he has now began an investigation into who ever called impersonating a Police Officer, which he then yelled that is a Federal Offence. (Bet that doesn`t work out to well for you "Jeff Gold"). This is a complete idiot, I have since tried to call him back, left messages and began my own investigation into this moron impersonating a Federal Agent, so when and if you read this " Jeff Gold".... I will be seeing you soon in Federal Court.
I contacted the real Federal Trade Commission in D.C., they advised me that this number is not one of the numbers they have.
