They keep calling my house 3-7 times a day :(

They called.  I answered. They hung up on me.  I called back and an automated system allowed me to opt out of future calls.  Hope it works!

They just keep calling and then hang up.  What Karla Evans says if disturbing...they keep the line open as if calling an overseas phone number.  I'd be very aware of the organization.l

I did what Karla Evans said to do and they said it would take up to 30 days to remove you from the list.

These harassing calls are coming from Concerned Women for America (http://www.cwfa.org). , they claim to promote Biblical principles but ironically do so by mercilessly harassing Americans through  never-ending repeated anonymous calls from their 202-471-1078.

Perhaps if everyone who receives these calls posts a Facebook status complaining about harassment from Concerned Women for America, they will respond to the bad PR and cease their harassment campaign.  How they think they can get donations by harassing people is certainly puzzling.

202-471-1078 Wow! just google to see what this number is I found this site. Agree with above I am receiving these calls don't say anything but, hang up and call back this has been everyday! I will no longer pick up and make sure that I am opt- out.

202-471-1078 is not Concerned Women for America.  Thier number is 202-488-7000 and they do not have an automatic fund raising number.  It is probably a hate group wanting everyone to believe it's CWFA.
I found another website showing it was Verizon!

I receive several calls a day every day  from 202 471 1078. My caller ID says it is from Washington, DC.
When I answer no one is there.

I got a call today form 2024711078 , who said they were from Concerned Woman of America.  The lady reminded me of my pledge which I made in July and asked which credit card did I want to us to charge my pledge since they said they hadn't recieved it.  I told her I'll check my records to see if I had or had not sent in the pledge.  Sure enough , I did send it in on July 17, 2011.  
 Needless to say, she was disapointed that i didn't want to charge my pledge on my credit card.
I'll never answer this number again.  This is a scam or the Concerned Women don't do very well on keeping track of their income.

the message does give you an option. There is a pause after the initial message of 3-5 seconds before they offer the option to add your number to their do not call list. I just added my number.

I think we should ALL make a point to call their headquarters main number at least three times a day ( see a previous post for their info) and try to sell them something...

Constant unwanted call.

I would like for these people or person to stop call me because I'm disable an do not wish to be disturb by thess un-nessary calls.  My wife whom is bi-polar does not need this distract either.  So please stop calling our phone number ASAP.   Thank for your help in this matter.

For the past month or so I've been getting calls from this number at least once a day, sometimes three times a day (202-471-1078).  After the first couple of times, I stopped answering.  Today after googleing the number, I dailed the number back and got a recording mentioning CWA and at the end, it said if I wanted to stop receiving callls to push #1 and that it could take 30 days to process.  Hope this works!

I keep getting calls from 202-471-1078.  Caller ID says Washington, DC.  Is it possible to request that they not call me any more?

I started getting calls from 202-471-1078 about 2 years ago after we had our number changed. They kept asking for the previous owner of this number. We explained over and over that this was NOT her number anymore and we were not interested in their organization and asked that they remove our number from their call list. The calls continued almost daily. When I saw this number on my caller I.D. I would answer and my responses became increasingly louder and vulgar. Finally after screaming at the top of my lungs and using profanity that would make a drunken sailor blush, the calls stopped. For awhile. This week the calls started again. Sometimes twice per day. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm elderly and disabled and don't like going to the phone for unwanted calls. I don't want to change the number again because all of my friends, family, doctors and others have this number. I am on every "no call" list available. But still, the calls continue. If anybody has any ideas...I'm listening.

you might want to check your phone bill.  on some of these things if you press a number it leave your line open so those people can make long distance call and charge to your phone   just FYI.
