received a call from this number. did not answer. msg machine picked up, but caller left no msg. wshngtnzn1 DC was on the caller ID........ which I am thinking Washington Zone 1 D.C.

yes, very annoying all these calls.  I block them but the callers just switch to another line/link

This # showed up on my caller ID today before I got home.  No voicemail, no call back as of yet.  From the posts above, doesn't sound like anything that I'd be interested in anyways...

From some politician - recorded message stating that I "...was being invited to participate in a town hall meeting, by attendance or phone" . . . I stopped the answering machine from recording the rest. DNC lists are not effective - I am not registered, as I believe that our govmnt has created this 'list' as another way to identify citizens . . . then sell this info to telemarketing companies. Ain't it great - to live in the land of the free? home of the brave? JUST SAY NO . . . thanx

Two calls from the same number about  hour apart.
In both cases, we chose not to answer.  The result:
- instead of rolling over to voicemail after 3 rings, the phone continued to ring for up to 19 or 20 rings each time.
              - on the 2nd call, while the phone continued to ring, using my cell phone called the same    
                number and went to voicemail.
              - as best I could tell, calls coming from this phone number, bypassed the standard voicemail  
                delayed call forwarding.

Don't know who they are, but if they're politicos or anyone associated with them, they're barking up the wrong tree, as usual.  Companies who solicit for political reasons should not be exempt from the do not call list, because here in Virginia, you can be arrested and charged for solicitation.  If I wanted to deal with them, I would call them.

Received a call from this number on 09/11/2011, that is right 09/11/2011, at 4:01pm my Caller ID showed the calling party as UNKNOWN ..... It is election time here .....

I just received a call from this number...  When I answered it was a recording stating it was a political call. they were Telatownhall, LLC....    I called the number back and listened to that recording stating they were they were Telatownhall, LLC... That they are in the business of providing townhall events for politicians and other political people....(not exact wording) but the name is correct, and at the end it was stated that if I didn't want to be contacted again to press #2 (which I did)....now I will see if they call back again.  At a loss as to why they continue to contact me as I am not in anyway shape or form a POLITICIAN.....

I for one am getting sick and tired of these S---heads calling all of the time.

Recieved a call from this number today. When I answered, an automated message said that the call was intended for answering machines only. I believe the recording went on longer but I just hung up at that point. Weird.

Missed the call. Called back and the operator said "Your call did not go through"

Political telemarketers are the lowest of the scum of the earth. Yes, they're exempt from the Do Not Call law, but when they exercise this exemption and call those on the list it just proves that they have s*** in their head instead of brains.

Wonder if during this conference call he will get the point that he is ruining our state?!

just rec'd automated call from this number stating that i will be auto-connected to a live teleconference call regarding the state of social security in our country----- should've stayed on to ask how many illegal aliens in our country collect from our social security if it was a legitimate call however i hung up as i don't trust strangers
