Totally unsolicited call from Payless Shoes-reported to Do Not Call Registry. Have they heard of it?

PAYLESS shoes!1!!

I don't shop @ Payless Shoes much less give them my home number.  Not appreciated and I will continue to NOT shop at Payless.

I got the call at work! Totally inappropriate and of course I never call them or shop there etc.

If they don't respect our privacy, why respect them by buying their shoes

Payless shoe "deals".  These automated calls to my cell phone are illegal, per the "Do Not Call Registry".

I have NEVER walked in that store, let alone buy, so why call me?  I am SO PISSED.  This DNC registry really works don't it!  NOT.

I have received a call from this proclaimed telephone number claming to say that I have won a cruise but at the end of the call I was switched to an operator 0981. For identification purposes, I asked what was the operators name. He stated 0981, I said okay but what is your name and he replied 0981 and that they just don't give us these numbers for nothing.  I then replied that he was being rude and this young kid called me a Nigger! I responded by saying "What did you say"? He said that you're a Nigger, a coon, typical black preson. I said oh really and and he hung up the phone. If I had the chance to confront that caller, I would have put my fist through his F*@king face. What he does not know that things are in place of locating him. People like that does not know about people past lives like retired military people who does not have to nonsense from igonrant caller, when they are calling your phone!

I received a call from Payless.  I expected one as they had asked for my phone number the last time I shopped there.  That's why I gave them the number of the phone whose ringer I always have OFF.

This number called while I was in the shower - I saw the number on the Caller ID. I probably wouldn't have answered it anyway. Now, I have to report this call - every number in my house (including the landline) is on the Federal Do Not Call List & has been for 3 years now.

I received a call from this #.  It was Payless Shoes telling me about a promotion.
Since I did not answer the call, the message went to a machine and I heard the message then.  Determined to take my number off the list, I called a phone # and pushed option #3 to remove my name and number.

My gripe???  They say, pleasantly, that the reason I am on the list is that I have shopped at their chain in the past 12-18 months.  

Well, I live in ARABIA!!!!  I did not shop in their store AND they phoned me during THEIR calling day, which is 2AM here!!!!

I really wanted to speak with a human being to ask where they got my phone # but alas, that is not an automated option.  I am so frustrated with this company right now!  2AM!!!!  Calling me, in the Middle East!!!

called my home on the 18th of dec. not sure who or why they called, didnt get to answer the phone. it was only one call but still it bothered me due to the simple fact that I dont shop there

They called my number, from the do not call registry.  No business with them.

We are on the so called no call list.  So how come we keep getting calls.

Payless wanted me to know about an "important event".

I am on the national do-not-call list.

Am I to believe that my wife buying shoes there entitles them to call my home phone anytime based on this "prior business relationship"?
Even so, how did they obtain my phone number from a purchase transaction?

Something feels slightly off here.

Payless shoes.  Called 10/23 at 12:20pm.  Option #3 will supposedly remove you from the calling list.  We will see.

After getting one, I called Payless and asked them to remove me from their calling list. The friendly young woman apologized and said she would take care of it.
