Yes, just ignore it. I've gotten recorded messages for the past two days from 202-506-9194. Said they were the IRS and I had better return the call or they would begin legal "allegation" against me. Dummies can't even use the English language correctly. And they obviously don't know that the IRS does not notify anyone by phone. This is just a tacky scam. I reported this new pest to the FTC and you should do the same. Google "File FTC Complaint" and take it from there. It's the only way to bust these fools.

I got a message from agent Heather Gray. She never mentioned any names and I am supposed to call or I'll face legal action. If anyone falls for this scam I feel sorry for them.

This number has called me a couple times in the past month.  Today they left a voice message stating "Heather Gray" from the IRS needed me to return her call or "they" would take legal action...

Called back and identitied as government employee to investigate matter. Phone dropped immediately from an Indian sounding female. It is a scam. Needs to go to FBI.

The best way to shut this kind of operation is for everybody call this number repeatedly to overwhelm their telephone lines.

Just received a voicemail about five minutes ago...just ignore it?

I just got the phone call guys and I knew not pick up, I let it go to voice mail, thanks! The number was 1-202-506-9194 and it was a robotic like monotone women's voice who said I would face "illegal allegations" if I ignored this phone call. She said she was with the IRS and the caller ID was Washington DC.

Stupid scam! First time it was a lengthy message with heavy accent from a male claiming from IRS. Now it's an robotic female voice. Why doesn't IRS or FBI prosecute these scammers since it's so widespread?

Received call from this # 2 days ago. 'Cause I DO owe the IRS I called back, got the same Indian accented woman everyone else did, when I questioned who I was talking to she said the IRS & transferred me to her 'supervisor', an Indian accented MAN who asked how much money I could send to show 'good faith'. Just to see what he said, I said $300 & he said, "We don't accept anything less than $1000" That's when I laughed & hung up. If you Do owe money, don't be fooled by this SCAM. The IRS will contact you by mail, or call 1-800-829-1040 to work out a payment plan.

Big scam. I received two voice mails at work today from an Officer Palladino of the IRS from phone number 202-506-9194. The voice message was a scrambled digital voice message that said that I owed the IRS back taxes of $5,000 and that I must call back to avoid further legal allegations.  "Allegations" was the actual word they used.  Anyway, I knew it was a scam because the IRS does not notify you by phone, but I called back. And I spoke to a woman who had a thick Indian accent. She that I owed back taxes and threatened me with property seizure, license revocation and that an officer would come to my home; arrest me and throw me in prison. I told her that I have a refund coming so send me my notice in writing.   She advised me that they already had last week but no one was home and therefore the notice could not be served.  I told her that they need to mail it or serve it again and she proceeded to tell me that an IRS officer would come to my home and arrest me.  I told her to bring it on and she said the IRS will send and officer out within the hour.  I told her I hope they try so I can laugh when the police arrest them. Then she hung up SCAM.

Received a call at 9:59 am from 202-506-9194. A recording of a women whose voice was scrambled instructed me to call back and not to ignore the call or I'd suffer legal action! She said her name was Heda Gray or something like that ( her name was muffled ). I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I let the machine take the call. When I went back to see the listing on my caller Id, it did not show up. On none of my four phones, good thing Verizon has a service that tells you what time a call came in and the number.of course IRS does not call your home. They will mail a letter.  So don't be fooled. Do Not return the call !

Thanks for the warning.  I received a message this morning but when I returned the call there was no answer.  I suspected something "off" as I don't owe IRS anything and never received any mail either.

Once reached, a woman with a very heavy accent informaed me that sheriffs were on their way to my home, they had my correct name, husbands name, and our mailing address. Stated we owed back taxes for 09 and 2011 of $5,986.58!  Sheriff would be at my home within 1 1/2 hrs.  When i said send them on i am here! I was disconnected.

I asked her what address they would come to, which she did have my address, but anyone can google your phone number to obtain your address. This Number called me and told me that I owed a huge amount of tax to the IRS and is from a heavy Indian Ascent woman, at first she asked if I have a attorney or not, and I said no, then she started telling me that I was fraud to the government by owing taxes and someone will come and arrest me and make me so scare and she said crying does not help you. your paperwork has been sent to the court and you will be in prison for five years, I will suspend your drive license for 7 years, and if you can pay 2000$ now and I could hold up the case for now.  

A message left from this number on May 8 ,2014. A lady said it is IRS hotline and let me 'return call ' before get legal action against me!!!

Got a call from them this morning, basically stating what everyone else above has said.  My taxes from 2011 and 2012 were incorrect, I owed money, and the IRS was suing me.  When I told them that I would wait for the "official notification by mail" they stated that my "time was up" and that they were seizing my home, vehicles, bank account and would be there to arrest me in 30 minutes.  Also that I had better not leave, as she "just suspended my driver's license".

When I stated that I knew that this was a scam, and that US law does not work like this, she told me that "even Obama can't help me now" because there were recently changes to the law.

Received a call this morning saying we violated something.  Must call this number to confirm going to court.  

Scammed called my home today too. So Frustrated!

Left message and claims to be with IRS., stating it is very important to call them back to avoid serious consequences with the IRS. I googled the phone number and saw all of the scam warnings. I tried to call back a couple times and have some fun with them, but they have not answered the phone when I have tried. Do not give them personal info or send them anything
