This number shows up on caller id and has called several times without leaving a message.

My wife took a phone call from this number about 2 weeks ago. She was offered a club membership with free gas. She decided to try it. As surprising as it may sound we are saving money using the club and we are getting free gas.

Thanks for posting this information, it will make it easier for everyone to report them for calling DNC numbers. I would encourage everyone to do so. This company needs to be stopped. Not only are they harassing people, but those who have bought into this scam have been duped out of their money. I have been receiving calls from these people for some time regarding my supposed auto warranty expiring. Sounded like a scam to me from the start, since I don't drive or own a vehicle. I have records showing 10 calls to my number in one day. They are calling from different numbers with the same recording, I think they are spoofing the Caller ID because some numbers that show up on the Caller ID I could not call back. I found their number 603-685-0200 and called to have my number removed from the list several times. I had interactions with very rude operators (one man calling himself Brian actually cussed me out on the phone) and refusing to remove me from their list or hanging up on me when I requested that they do so or let me speak to a supervisor. I have these calls recorded as well and my phone bills to document it. I did some research on this company and found numerous complaints against them on Rip Off Report. They are selling warranties with supposed bumper-to-bumper coverage, when in reality the warranty only covers 12 small parts in the transmission.

If you get calls from General Warranty Services, do not buy into their scam, report them to the DNC and FCC. This company needs to be sued out of business for deceptive business practices and harassing telemarketing calls!

They've tried calling a few times.  Seems more people are trying phone scams these days.  Don't give out any info to them and hopefully the Feds will bust them soon.  What an annoyance.

I've gotten 3 calls from this number today.  My caller ID says it's a cellular call.  I don't answer for people I don't know and especially people who won't leave a voicemail.  I am getting a little tired of this number calling me.  I'm already on the "Do not call" list so this is a quandry...

i received a call from this number too.  When I answered they told me  they were calling on behalf of my credit card and told me my last 4 numbers on my card.  She said I was getting a $100 gift certificate in the mail and wanted to verify my mailing address.  I responded I don't know if this is my credit card number and I will not answer that....they immediately hung up!!  It's a scam...don't give out info!!!

Call constantly on my cell phone - I never answer it because I don't know the number (shows District of Columbia). They just keep calling, and calling, and calling with no message!

Repeated calls, so far have not answered.  I'm already on a do not call list.  Will report to FTC.

Calls started today.  Couldn't get to it...didn't recognize the number and called right back.  It was on automated answer and thanked me for calling back and then stated if I was on the "Do Not CaLL List" and I didn't want to receive any more solicitation calls to press one...which I did.  Three hours later I got the same call.  My suggestion is not to call back any area code 202 numbers as well as not answer them.  Does anyone know if anything can be done about this?

I have had the same nonsence going on every day for the past four months; e.g., at least one call daily with two being the norm. I found several good phone numbers for this outfit when one of the operators slipped and gve me the name of the company and a phone number.

As others have said when speaking to an agent of this "company," they tell you that they cannot give the person being called a company address and do not want to give a phone number either. If it is a legitimate company, they would willingly give all information that the person receiving the call asks for. The people that I've talked to were obnoxious from the start of the conversation. If anyone falls for this scam...  Well I'd better not say what I'm thinking.

I told them not to call our phone number at least five times, but they keep calling in spite of my request. Unfortunately these scams are flourishing in the United States. The general public has to be very careful about buying anything, or giving out any personal information. If one is not careful, one could loose more than their shirt.
